  • Poor hospitality

    We are invited to sit down at a round table at around 13:00 hours and are served our lunch which was ok. At the moment we want to finish with some coffees at 14:50 the manager asks us to pick up the bill instead. “Sorry, folks. We close at 15:00….no more coffees for you. Our staff finishes in 10 minutes and I’m too busy to serve you”. Not a really professional attitude for a hotel/restaurant manager, is it?

  • Great place

    Faultless rooms with super bathrooms. Kind efficient and caring staff. Excellent food in the bar area. Good selection of beers and wines. Good English spoken and plenty of help with my faltering efforts to speak a little Dutch!

    Excellent and informal hotel in cosy village in beautiful area in Holland. Staff was very friendly and offered reserved parking space for my classic car. The hotel accomodation is quite new and modern. Spacious bathroom.

  • Fine hotel and restaurant.

    Fine, clean hotel. Restaurant with good food for a reasonable price. Friendly people. We could leave our bikes in a garage with a lock. Good breakfast. Nice terrass. We surely come back when we are in the neighbourhood!

  • A gem of a find!

    En route to the ferry at the Hook from Zurich. This was a lucky random find. Staff were SO helpful especially lovely Evie. Very good food in the evening (stunning salmon) and great beer. Room could not have been better and the bathroom was the best of our 14 day trip away. We will return for a long weekend just to visit here and go cycling.

  • Highly recommended hotel

    People are very kind. Kitchen is good. Hotel is situated nearby cycling and walking tours and in the middle of the village nearby shops. The rooms are new and comfortable. There is a place to stall the bikes.
