  • If I could give a minus rating I would. I’ve ordered twice from uber in the last 2 months and they messed up both times. The first time they completely left an item out which was the main reason I Ubered in the first place and today they sent us the wrong eggs and an expired wholemeal flour where the packet looked beaten and was open. Totally ruined dinner plans. How are they still allowed to be open looking at the other reviews?

  • Always there when I can't be bothered going in to the supermarkets at Brookside. Perfect for a quick purchase, whether it's some lunch, paper towel, milk or a sneaky treat.

  • Was here one time and a man tried to steal 4 cans of Heinz Spaghetti Tomato Sauce 130g. A red-headed employee here picked up one of the cans dropped by the thief and throw it at least 50 metres to hit the man on the head and knock him out. Really quite spectacular.

  • I was in the store when a man with a gun came in and threatened to rob me if I didn't give him all my money. Luckily the employee working at the time saw this and knocked him out with a can of Heinz spaghetti, 130 grams., From about 55 metres away. As quick as a flash he flung over the counter, grabbing the man and escorting him to the nearby police station. After the doors slammed close behind him, all that was left was a strand of his red hair. Another amazing save by the red headed employee.

  • UPDATE TO MY REVIEW - The IGA has undergone a lovely transformation and stockist of YouFoods. The lady behind the counter is friendly and the elderly man has changed his attitude for the better.RUDE RUDE RUDE -The elderly Indian man behind the counter is extremely unfriendly, aggressive, intimidating and a terrible person who obviously hates what he does. NOTE TO THE OWNER: Mr Ross, please check your reviews, I am not the first person who is complaining about him. GET RID OF HIM or lose more customers.
