Pretty nice app. Please add the capability to add the upcoming live events to our Apple calendar.
The NASA app is amazing because you can watch every rocket launch and there is so much to see! You can even view 3D Models of rockets, look at the sky view which allows you to see all the names of the stars and planets and it shows you which ones are which, you can do a lot of stuff on the app. I totally recommend this app. My dream has been to pass the Kerman line and reach outer space. To feel weightless. I want to explore the universe in all itâs glory. I want to see the earth from above. I want to know the universeâs secrets and how things work.
I want to launch rockets and do cool things. So thank you NASA, for making history.
It's very pretty, but clearly whoever designed it never used the app before. Where is NASA TV? Where is the ISS feed?
Even the newest version BURIES things we used to enjoy for a YouTube like experience that no one asked for and has been forced on us. It pains me to rate a NASA app one âď¸ but it earned it.
You have a section for LIVE at the top with nothing live happening in it, except you have a LIVE feed from ISS that is not on the top row, and is hidden at the very bottom of the app on iOS, and completely missing on AppleTV.
Please actually ask users what they want and then deliver that. You built an entire app no one is happy with from a totally serviceable app that we loved.
NASA has once again changed this app for no apparent reason! Itâs happened at least 3 times and itâs never been an improvement. Now you can no longer save any pics that are posted on the app, taken with taxpayer money. They have become so arrogant and closed off with the public that I no longer have faith in the agency..
Iâve used the NASA app for ever. And itâs always been my goto for information about current and past space missions. The latest update is very nice but they took away (or put it where I canât find it) the missions section. I would go there to track where the latest mission was, or to look up upcoming missions. It was a terrific resource. And now it just seems to be gone. NASA please bring back the missions section in the app.
UPDATE
Thank you for your quick reply and app update. I appreciate that there is more access to some missions. But where are the older ones? I would like to be able to look up old missions, Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Voyager, etc. The historical missions are well worth being able to look up as easily as the current ones. Keep up the good work.
I donât know where the live star map went on the app but I am extremely disappointed that it is not easily findable under any search terms that audiences might be familiar with. Nothing populated with searches like âlive star mapâ, âHubble star mapâ, or âstar mapâ. This is incredibly frustrating and there is no place in the app for people used to the old layout to cross reference old titles of older widgets you used to have within the app. Itâs completely different, with lots of cool stuff{!}, but I cannot find the map!!!!
Update: I have changed my review to five stars bc the live sky map is now available again for users!! Yippeee
