LEXIN G16 Motorcycle Headset Feedback Analysis

I love this unit. I bought the two pack so that me and a friend can use it on our snowmobile trips. Mike motorcycling can't hear a fellow Rider unless you turn off your machine so having one of these hooked up to your helmet is really a great way to communicate and save time while riding and when stopped momentarily. I love all the features as the intercom system is great. The built-in mic and headphones are of excellent quality, especially for the money. Compared to a cardo unit that I had this is definitely a better value. The unit itself feels very sturdy and premium and sits on the helmet very securely. My cardo always felt like it was loose or going to fall off at speed, but this one is super tight. Has just a few large and easy to push buttons even with gloves so you don't have to remove your glove to use it. Overall a great product really enjoying it.

The G16's are just great. They can get very loud and If you know how to ajust the sound settings in your phone to optimize the sound quality, you'll see just how well they sound. The range is very good,the battery life is outstanding and the light feature is very handy. These are as good if not better as the more expensive ones. Lastly the seller is the best, they really seem to care about their customers.

I bought these to upgrade an older B4FM set we had. We use them for ATV riding on trails. The B4FM works great until we get a little too far apart in the twisties. Once we get caught up they pair up quick though (B4FM) The G16 advertises "twice" the range of the older models so I thought these would be a good upgrade. The first ride with the new set, the range was terrible. It was worse than the 3 year old B4FM that we use. Luckily I brought the old set with and swapped them out in the morning. Soon as we hit the trails the sound was better and the range was better than the G16s. G16s would pair together, but they were very difficult and slow to pair. Not sure why. B4FMs paired together no problem.

Also be aware that the speaker/mic are now USB-C. The older style uses a headphone style plug. This requires you to change out the speakers if you want to upgrade to this model.

I would suggest you save your money and stick with the older model. They appear to work much better than the newer more expensive model.

It connects to your phone quickly, the mic blocks out background noise really well when on the phone, and the sound quality is alright. The mounting system is not that great. It wouldnt stay securely on either of my helmets. The best thing about this is the battery life. I use it everyday and might have to charge it once a month.

The Lexin G16 stood out to me from the competition because of the integral flashlight and price, and it has not disappointed.

The sound quality is good, the speakers can get very loud. The noise cancellation during phone calls is top notch. Not one person that I've talked to on the phone, while using the Lexin G16 could tell I was on my bike (including my bike insurance agent). The battery lasts forever. I've had my Lexin G16 for a year and have only ever gotten it down to 80% and I've only plugged it in to charge twice. I suspect that the flashlight will drain the battery more quickly, but the light will only function when the device is powered on so its hard to accidentally turn it on.

The customer service over at Lexin is top notch, and it's clear that they stand behind their products. The g16 comes with a two-year warranty, and I just recently had an issue with my g16. When I called Lexin, I instantly had a real person on the phone. Before the day was done, they had a replacement unit in the mail.
