    The app does not have login. App does not appear secure. For booking / cancellation it takes you to a third party site, as authorized agent.
    Appears dubious in the info security world.

    Why can’t Indian Railways provide their own secure app to give confidence to the traveling public / users.

    Why go cheap to charge Rs. 399 to go adds free.

    Sorry to say, Indian Railways modernization and consumer / user friendly is left far behind.

  • Difficult for NRI to register and book tickets

    I downloaded the app and tried to check train status.
    1) Adds keep popping up and never lets you use it. Is this an official app of IRCTC? If I’m a paying customer then why do you allow advertising and commercials?
    2) as an NRI with a foreign passport it is very hard to register and book tickets. Rather I had to ask my relatives to book it for me.

    Very irritating app as it continuously try to run videos and advertisements in every click instead of doing its main job. Horrible!!

  • Does’t work for delayed trains

    I think the app works — it’s the poor information from the stations that is a problem. Good for planning, but useless for live info anout either train or station.

    Too many advertisement not sure which one is genuine.

    Being government app it should be free off advertising.

    It is easy when we use the app.

    Not customized to NRI

    As it required phone number when you enter Overseas number still does not recognize and keep coming back to log in screen.

    If we use other partners you have to pay commission charges.

  • Very poor app

    I would like to give 0 star, but there is no option for it. This is very poorly built app. It never worked for me. Not on mobile data and not over wifi with high speed. Not sure what’s wrong with my app version. I am using ios 15.6.1 on iPhone 12 pro Max.
