Mixed Reviews on Saf-T-Ear Bluetooth Earphones: Battery Life and Sound vs. Durability and Connectivity

Excellent battery life, very good sound quality, failed in less than a year! Their customer service is horrible! Had an issue and made numerous attempts to contact a customer service rep. finally connected and offered Nothing. Would seriously consider another brand.

Do not buy these ear buds!! I have several different styles of ear buds but I have never had a pair this bad. My phone has to be within a foot from the buds in order for the Bluetooth feature to work. They will not connect if my phone is in my back pocket!!!

I ordered a package of high fidelity earplugs for a better fit and these work great now. I wear them when running a chipper and a chainsaw. I keep my phone with me, so I have no connection problems.

These definitely works as earplugs but not much else. For my tactile point of view the controls are hard to use, and not that responsive. I find that the coordinates is way too short and the control is way too close to your face it would be nice to have the control towards the middle of the cable more and a slightly longer cable. the phone with your plug concept kind of sucks because you have to roll them and stick them in your ears like normal ear plugs so if you're an environment where you need to take them out and put them in frequently I would look for something that has a polyurethane cone with fins on it instead of this product. I'll save these for use when I'm welding just to keep Sparks out of my ears, but as earbuds they have a very limited potential.

I bought these in March of 2020. I know what a year right? Any way I used to use big headphones that had noise cancelling on them but since they were big I didn't use them that much so they collected sawdust in my garage. These I use all the time because I can listen to music and they fit in my ears. The first time I used them I was like, wow these are amazing. They definitely did reduce the noise. I was considering buying the ISO Tunes but I liked this price much more, I'm cheap and if I can get the same result cheaper that's the way I will go. I have not found any ear protection with this high of a rating. 40dB is huge. I don't know if it is true but I believed it, my opinion is that it's more around 25dB. One of the things I don't like is when the cord is behind my neck I hear it as it rubs against my neck or shirt, very annoying. My solution, I moved it to in front of my neck. Problem mostly solved. Second is that the plug for the charging hole gets in the way when trying to plug in the cord. I know big deal but I like what I like. Lastly, about 4 months ago I touched one of the only 3 buttons and the language changed to Chinese? There are limited directions and language isn't an option. Oh and I have never been able to use it to talk on the phone. I can hear them but they can't hear me.
So to wrap this up. I like them because I now use hearing protection all the time because of the convenience. I don't think it lives up to the 40dB claim. I think I will spend the extra money on ISO Tunes since most of the woodworkers I follow use them. Enjoy 2021, it can't be worse then 2020 right. Don't hold your breath.
