Good for international travel. The Argentinian exchange rate is pretty poor though.For Instance, the Wise rate as of 12th September 2023 is indicated as 1 GBP = 436.489 ARS while Western Union shows 1GBP = 913.9777 ARS. There are other anomalies specific to the Argentinian Currency. If I use my Monzo card, I get refunded later to bring the exchange rate for the purchase closer to the Western Union (or Blue Dollar) rate while a Wise purchase leaves the exchange at the official rate.While the comparison tool works well for some currencies, it only lists the Wise rate for Argentinian Pesos and lists nothing at all for Bolivian Bolivianos - not even the Wise rate. However, the service is good and steadily improving.

Transfers, fast easy and on good rates but if you need support or a refund this is DRAMA! No phone, no email and the help section is a swamp!

I submitted a Uk to US transfer more than 11 days ago. The money was taken from my account almost instantly, but has not been deposited in the US account yet.The company advertises ‘one day or instant transfers on popular routes’, but I am stuck even after 11 day. Bait and switch approach - I will not transact with them again.Note: I am not including the transaction number per Wise’s policy.

We have been with wise for 5 years now and the service is going downhill. We had a transaction cancelled recently and have talked to 4 different wise agents who have told us 4 different reasons. Most of the agents don't have access to answer our questions, so phone conversations are very frustrating as no one has an answer. We are very close to finding a new company to work with.

It has been all good using wise account abroad. The only difficulty is how to load cash is a few things you must touch. It’s pleasure and has really helped in times of need.Thanks

I have been locked out of my account bc my phone number was unexpectedly shut-off and phone device broken. I tried to log in from another device but needed to update my number. I need a selfie with passport but my passport has been mailed to the consulate for renewal. I have a pic of my passport and printed out copy and all personal account information. In the meantime my incoming payments are being rejected stating that I need to be verified. I use Wise for most of my payments and am unable to receive any money. I have sent about 6 emails over the last week and have yet to receive a response. I need to know how I can be verified ASAP as my passport will take several weeks. No response is not acceptable. People entrust their money to you and as everyone knows our money is important. To completely ignore in an emergency situation shows incompetence and disrespect. Wise advertises that they cater to expats, however they do not do so adequately as I am an expat who relies on Wise and there seems to be no provisions for unique expat situations (such as renewing a passport from a foreign country). I am the sole provider for my family and have no way to receive money and all I hear from Wise is crickets.

I had to verify my identity, made a transfer, then they forgot about the verification, had to re do it 2 more times, then they wanted to verify a phone (which doesnt really work for any phone number outside the US, but instead of saying so, they just pretend other countries are allowed) so overall, my impression is they fake the "security" to keep money for longer and build their cashbase. I just cant trust any banking company that uses this kind of tactic.

I hate Wise after they delayed my transfer. Wise security checks are terrible. They suspend the transfer for a long time. They don't release the money quickly, even after they get the necessary information. They ask for information not related to the transfer. I don't recommend sending money in USD by wise to foreign countries.

Couldn't get money to a friend in paraguay with paypal but wise got through 💪

They will close your account and Keep your money for no reason, Do not ever fall for this company. Go use something else. I lost almost $2000 they said they will refund me but they didn’t refund for almost 2 months. SCAM

Easy to use!

This company is a joke. They couldn't fix my debit card to work abroad. I am stuck abroad to my home bank's card and have to pay extra fees.Their support is useless, all they say "rest assured, it is being dealt"But the reality they are not dealing with anything otherwise I wouldn't have this problem for this long.

Easy handling, fast transfers

What a difference 6 months make. Since our last experience with Wise earlier this year, our comments have been taken on board. The original use case for Wise (I want to change currency X into currency Y) has been put front and centre again. This time we just sailed through the whole process.It's really nice to see a company take the time and trouble and make things better.

War bisher mit Wise sehr zufrieden. Überweisungen in die USA gingen schnell und günstig. Nun musste ich mein Konto verifizieren, was mir leider nicht gelungen ist. Die verlangten Fotos der Ausweisdokumente waren nie scharf genug und es gibt keine andere Möglichkeit der Verifizierung. Ich werde in Zukunft eienen anderen Anbieter nutzen.

Love the product and the variety of services offered, the app itself is so easy to use. Every transfer I make it’s so quick and straightforward. Whenever I travel, I always use Wise. The card itself is also so pretty (I’ve got the white eco card).
