Works well, though it does require drivers that you might not have on your system
Purchased this as a faster wireless adapter for an older PC I rebuilt a while back. This adapter runs well enough, but because it uses the Realtek RT8812 chipset there weren't any drivers included in the stock Ubuntu image I installed on it. There's a set of drivers available for this chipset on Linux via Github, but it will require you to both be able to get those drivers onto your computer and to know how to install it via the terminal, which may be outside the capabilities of a less experienced user. I believe you'll also need drivers on Windows as well, though I haven't tried it on that OS (and believe that the installation process is much easier there). That said, once it's working, it works well and is a solid improvement over the old wireless card installed in there.

doesn't run close to the mentioned specs, could be because of my build on my computer but I don't think so after tinkering with it I was able to draw out a little bit more performance.

Works great
It works great. I plugged it in, selected my WiFi and I was connected. It also came with a GameCube-sized disc with the Drivers on it. However, most custom builds and even newer laptops don’t have a disc drive. So, don’t fret! It’s plug and play!

Easy to set up
It was very easy to use. I just plugged it in and connected to the internet. I could move the antennas to fit with the space my computer was in. My only complaint is after a year it seemed to start failing and would disconnect.

Very spotty connection
It works, but sometimes it decides not to. I'm a pretty tech savvy guy who builds computers alot and downloaded the proper drivers on my fully up to date OS from the manufacturers site. It's just ok. It will do the job, but not always reliably.

Do not buy
Wow! This is a nightmare! Not user friendly AT ALL! Videos are not helpful. Disconnects from the Wi-Fi during sleep mode. Should have read Aaron S review BEFORE purchasing!

Dud. No 5g
2.4 connects, but no 5g even after driver installation. Their driver software makes something run in the task tray, which is distinctly odd and creepy.

It seemed too small and fragile I didn't have much hope of it working. But attached it to my computer and it works beautifully.

Works Great!
I bought this because my CyberpowerPC gaming computer does not have wifi included. I work from home, so while I am working, I like to game. This wifi adapter has done its job well. It keeps a steady, strong connection, even allowing me to play games online with no lag. Love it!

Router is in the basement and I’m on the second floor so I struggled to get a good connection with my old $8 asus wifi receiver. This one seems to work way better and have had zero issues since. Would recommend

Do NOT get this brand
I bought a very similar USB from this brand last year and it didn't take long before it stated cutting out every 10 minutes and not connecting properly. I went to buy another and made the mistake of getting one of the same brand. And behold, ofcourse its just as bad and doesn't connect. I've used wireless USB's many times in the past and had no issue. But for the sake of your sanity, just buy another. These are not good.

Buyer beware! I had this adapter for less than a year but now it will not connect to my wifi. I can’t recommend enough against buying this product

DOES NOT WORK out of the box for LINUX. You need to use the disc for it.
