  • No fingerprints or spiral!

    I bought these to take notes for my classes because I hate how normal notebooks have a spiral that digs into the side of my hand whenever I get too far over on the line. It's a small annoyance but I take a lot of notes so the annoyance builds pretty fast. These don't leave any fingerprint marks on the cover and the pages are pretty large but unfortunately I didn't realize they were wide ruled lines. I abhor wide ruled notebooks. It's my fault for not reading the description right but just something to be aware of if you're not as picky as me.

    This is a decent notebook for the price. It has stayed together. during use (I cart mine around everywhere I go in my large purse). However, within a few days, the cover looks really gross, there are fingerprints all over it. Not a good look for work.

  • Excellent find!

    I love the soft matte cover! Normally fingerprints are left with covers like this but this one passed the test! And if you look at the back page it’s dated for the day I ordered so they made it the day I bought it!

  • I should have read the reviews.

    This is NOT a notebook with black pages. It's a notebook with a black cover, and as such, is WAY OVERPRICED. I have 70 or so composition books that I give out to my students during the year that each cost me $.25. Paying TWENTY times that amount for what is essentially the exact same thing is ridiculous. The only thing I can say is that it's larger.

    So now, I have a book I don't need for a price I hate.

    Read your reviews people. Look at the pictures. Do not be fooled by the phrase "Black Onyx, Lined..." and think they mean the paper is black.

  • Great notebook for students or anyone who takes a lot of notes

    Sorry for the terrible lighting in my photos, but I wanted to show what it looked like written on, especially how much bleed through there is to the other side of the page when writing with pen because I know that is something I always want to know about a notebook before I buy it. This notebook has minimal bleed through, here I was using a Pilot G2 pen which does bleed through on thinner paper. This paper is thick. You can see the writing on the other side a little bit, but once you write on the page, you don't even notice it. I showed where I had doodled, because it did bleed through a little more there, but I was coloring in the lettering and there was more ink so that's why it showed. I love this notebook. Its big, has lasted 2 semesters worth of med school notes, which is A LOT of notes. And the cover is simple enough which I like, but I'm sure you could decorate it if you wanted a cuter cover. I will definitely be buying this notebook again!!
