Beautiful view from hotel and beautiful beach close by. Whole hotel experience was perfect. Food was delicious every day with different choices. Loved every minute will definitely be back. Lovely staff and spotless room with comfy beds and nice showers.
We have just returned again from our second visit after our son begging to return. He was so happy to see Conor there still (the reason we booked again). Conor is amazing with everyone but especially the children. My son never joins in anything but loves taking part in bingo and the activities Conor leads. The full family love this hotel. We stayed in 2514 and it was so peaceful and quiet right at the end. Not sure if the beds are new but were so comfortable. Not a fan of the paper cups this year for the drinks. They often ended up leaking before we got chance to finish them but we did buy some half pint plastic cups from the europa centre for a few euros. Another gorgeous stay here again!
We found this hotel reasonably priced and excellent for families. The ROOMS are spacious, nicely decorated with a large balcony and kept very clean. Only thing we found annoying is the shower being a flat floor leaks and can be a slipping hazard. FOOD is very good selection both morning and evening, as we were half board. Something for everyone. I love sitting outside for breakfast BUT the pidgeons are an issue. The shelter they have outside has gaps and the pidgeons hang over the side and poop on you or your plate! The tables need to be better positioned or the shelters replaced for an entire cover over people. LOCATION is great for both beaches whichever you prefer Amadores the bigger bay is 15 min walk out the back and right or Puerto Rico beach is 7 min and a lot less…
Beautiful hotel which had an amazing fresh scent. The rooms and sea views are stunning. I sat on the balcony at 4.30am to watch the stars. My first sight on entering the room was someone parasailing, which made me want to try it. (It was amazing, what an experience). The infinity pools are serene. The staff are exceptional, but i have to give a speciall shout out to Taha, Jony Edita and Eduardo. Nothing is too much trouble. Eduard found me a bottle of Jack Daniels on my last night . LEDGEND. The entertainment is first class. The food is out of this world, so much to choose from. They even gave up prosseco for breakfast on Sunday. Would definitely come again
After seeing all great reviews we booked. Currently still here . What a total disappointment all ofinclusuve plus my good god it's a joke hour to order a drink not premium as advertised will not return
We first stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon back in 2012 and it was fantastic. So we decided to go back again for our 11th wedding anniversary and it was just as good. This time we stayed in a room with a private pool which was great, we spent most of our time there. Nice air-conditioning in the room was a godsend as it was 40 degrees on a couple of days. The room was cleaned to a high standard by the housekeeping team on a daily basis, with plenty of towels replaced where necessary. The restaurant was nicely air-conditioned too, the food was plentiful with no problem finding something we liked. We only used the snack bar once, as the all inclusive offerings were very limited. We ventured out of the hotel a few times, a short taxi ride to the nearest shops costing 5 euro each way. We also walked into town which was 10 minutes and sampled some watersports which was great. Being all inclusive and the hotel food being good we didn't sample any of the many restaurants in the town. Very few negatives I can think of about this hotel. The only way to improve would be to make the rooms with pools a little more private, perhaps bring the partition between the pools right up to the path at the end of the pool, maybe with a gate access between pools for the pool maintenance team to access as we had people walking past our pool on several occasions and one of our neighbours liked to use the pool with no clothes on which we didn't really want to see. Also the food offering in the snack bar could be increased to include more choice. Other than that, we love this hotel and have already booked to go back again next year.…
This hotel is penny pinching, some of the staff are rude and need training in customer service urgently! You spend vast amounts of time queuing for simple requests at the the front desk, and it takes a day or too to navigate the lift system as there are no hotel maps. Be aware water at dinner is charged for, and the food is Luke warm and often over cooked and rehashed every day - there is not getting away from the awful entertainment with bad speakers just as you relax into your sun bed - the hotel is not run to service the guests in the least - I will never return as feel duped by the positive reviews on this sight - there were so many other issues but I cannot be bothered but be warned!
Amazing hotel but be advised. I booked via jet2 and paid for "All inclusive plus" on getting to the hotel was told they only do "all inclusive ". There is only one brand of beer included in "all inclusive" and all others are €4 each. There is A limited range of cocktails included in "all inclusive " and are delivered/mixed via an automated machine behind the bar. These cocktails are so weak uou could drink them all day like water. I asked to put exstra spirit in my cocktail every time. Food is OK but again aimed at families as its mostly chicken and burgers. Great for the family and those who don't really drink alot but if your going as a couple I would go to a proper "all inclusive plus" hotel where you know you will be given what you have paid for and not be told continuously "that's not included in ALL INCLUSIVE " As I said, great place, room, pool but have have let themselves down by going cheap on the things that really make you enjoy your holiday.…
We chose this hotel because of the good reviews. Sadly this was not our experience. If you like a slightly up market Butlins type holiday, then this is the hotel for you. The reception staff were unhelpful, at times bordering on dismissive and rude. Long queues just to get a towel. Even if on all inclusive or half board, you have to pay extra for water if you want to drink it with your meal. The food is plentiful, but very much the same each night. Often over cooked or cold. The hotel is isolated except for a very small tourist town, where prices are equivalent to central London prices. A taxi ride into nearest proper town was £20 one way. This was however a beautiful and quite stunning place. We found the Gloria Palace, to be honest quite soul less and not worth the cost
After being recommended by family members of this hotel I am somewhat disappointed. Given the hot temperature we were allocated a room which has inadequate air conditioning. The air conditioning unit is in the hallway and doesn't filter into the bedroom area resulting in poor sleep in these hot temperatures. Requested a fan for our room and was told I would have to hire an ac unit not what you expect when you save so hard to bring your family away and have to pay additional costs to make your holiday enjoyable. Was unable to change rooms as the ac is the same in other rooms unless I wanted to upgrade yet again at my own cost which is it an option for us.
Fabulous hotel, with great staff, we went B&B, and the breakfast was gorgeous and plenty of it, on arrival we were given a room that looked out onto the pool bar, it was quite small, we asked for a different room, the receptionist was very nice and we got one the next day with fabulous sea views and was much bigger, the hotel was spotless clean and the housekeeper was very nice, clean towels when we needed and clean bedding also, we did tend to put up the do not disturb sign some days cause we didn't feel the room needed to be cleaned everyday as there was only 2 of us in the room, we had the use of a very clean courtesy room on the day of checkout, we will definitely be returning to the gloria palace in the near future.
Amazing experience overall. Amazing staff, professional, courteous and always welcoming. Amazing hotel, good amenities, entertaining evening shows. Amazing food, lots to eat and many choices with live counter of pizza, burgers and meat. Amazing nature and beauty, beautiful beach in 10 minute walking distance. 10/10 without a doubt.
First experience of “All Inclusive” and it was definitely a good one. We were in block 1 - rooms were spacious, views outstanding, quiet and had everything we needed. Cleaners were brilliant, changed our towels every day. Food was excellent- possibly the best part of the stay 😊 we all ate way too much over our holiday. It worked really well for the picky eater in our family - no debates over “will I like anything in this restaurant “ - our usual discussion when eating out. All the serving staff are polite, helpful - drinks service always speedy. Plenty of sun beds/parasol. I especially liked the pool towels being provided- made a big difference when flying with luggage weight restrictions. Would I go back? Absolutely 👍🏻
Lovely 10 day stay with family , did bed and breakfast and really happy with the breakfast , great selection . Friendly staff . Clean and rooms refreshed daily . Only downfall was the price of drinks if not all inclusive. Also people reserving sun beds , even the night before !!! I would definitely book again . A really great, relaxing holiday
Stayed in one of the rooms with a private pool,Everything about the room was fantastic! The decor was very well done, you feel relaxed the moment you walk in the room.As for the bed, couldn t ask for better. Could stay here for a very long time but sadly😭 time runs out tomorrow.
Ignore ALL negative reviews, this place is absolutely fantastic! Staff ✔️ Extra special shout outs to Cintya, Carmen, Mercedes, Adrian, Juan, and the gentleman with the epic moustache (never caught his name) ✔️ Rooms (we were in block 2, room 2412) ✔️ Views from room balcony were unbelievable ✔️ Food (every single meal there was plenty of choice, including the snack bar) ✔️ Soft drinks (glass bottles at meal times, and draft from the pool bar) ✔️ Alcoholic drinks (Beer, Rum, Cocktails, Cava, Gin) ✔️ Cleanliness ✔️ Plenty sun beds (no need to get up before 9) ✔️ Lifts (plenty of other reviews moaning about them, but we only experienced one out of order and was fixed the next day)✔️ Our only constructive feedback would be: - [ ] Get better air con in the Salon Bar,…
Had an amazing stay for 12 nights at the GPA. Check in was smooth. Amazing room with sea view. What was really impressive was that the hotel which is large was full. But I can honestly say that it never felt too busy or hindered our stay in any way. Restaurant was of an excellent standard. A real favourite of mine was the chefs at the end that cooked grilled fish and meats at lunch and dinner time. Saro who works in restaurant is such a lovely lady that is so good at her job and so friendly. Our son who is 8 years old loves Saro and always looks forward to returning to see her. We spent the daytime at the family orientated infinity pool and children’s pool. Had some lovely hot sunny days here. Conor who looks after events and heads the animation team was on good form and excels…
This hotel is amazing lots to do and there is good entertainment and good kids club and also there is good views and good food 👍 and the staff is really helpful if you need anything There is good bars you can go to and also the pool is set to the right temperature that people like
We have of this hotel, many times, we returned in August for a few nights. It was brilliant to see some of the original staff and of course Conor…. Who is the highlight of the entertainment in the hotel. He’s so passionate and entertaining and professional…. All age groups love him Drinks have totally declined on the all inclusive…. Horrible machine cocktails and cheap local spirits…. Which is a shame… Also miss the lady DJ on a Saturday afternoon….!!!!!! But we will still return !!!!
Hotel is clean and reception staff are helpful but busy. Biggest frustration was the penny pinching from the hotel we were all inclusive (2adults 2children) and found the drinks and food limited. Every outlet within the hotel had additional items at a premium. I was not asking for champagne with XO brandy chasers but out of the list of about 10 cocktails on the Menu only half were included all the others were available but at a charge and If you go to the lower bar you have to pay for everything even a basic beer. if you go any other bar it’s included? The Snack bar/ pool bar showed me two menus for lunch one the all inclusive (which also had premium meals not included) and a second menu for paying customers (photos attached) . One afternoon they wheeled out a cooing station and…
Family of four stayed in 2 large clean rooms. Excellent large balconies too with amazing sea views good for an ice cup of tea or coffee in the mornings (rooms have a kettle - big +) The food was plentiful and good quality, there is an amazing huge terrace attached to restaurant which is good to sit at occasionally. Inside the restaurant was nicely air conditioned. Entertainment was high quality the showroom is enormous with good air flow. Location is v good too - a beach in each direction both with good swimming in the sea. Only thing is so many lifts to get out of hotel and they need some air in them, could easily feel claustrophobic. I felt the pools were too small. I could only really swim early and late. Most people didn’t seem to want to swim anyway. All in all good. …
Lovely hotel with great facilities. Even though it was a very large hotel, you wouldn’t necessarily realise as it is managed very well with lots to do. Food was varied and of great quality. Cleanliness was fantastic. Pools and entertainment were of high quality too. Situated within 2 beaches only a 10 minute walk either way on the promenade.
2nd time at the hotel ...its a beautiful location and the views out over the sea are amazing..the staff and there team are so helpful they can't do enough for you and always smiling...the food was very varied and prepared well by there staff...room was spotless....I will definitely be back again
Had a wonderful time at Gloria Palace Amadores - came here as a teenager around 10 years ago with my family and decided to come back as it had left a lasting impression on us back then and this time around they still didn’t disappoint! Rooms are clean and well equipped for an all inclusive stay - bathroom was lovely and the shower had good water pressure. All rooms have a sea view due to the hotel being built into the cliff edge and the loungers on our balcony were used daily to admire the view. We only used the pool on the top floor as it was quieter and away from children, so would definitely recommend going to the upper level pool if you are a party of adults. Had no issue getting sunbeds and we tended to get there at 10am after having breakfast. The food was varied and…
The beds are comfy, rooms are spacious with large balcony. I can’t fault this hotel that’s why I came back this year. Amazing place. They have entertainment on every night, staff are very nice & can’t do enough for you.
The hotel was great food lovely staff very friendly, I booked the premium double room with private pool as this should be for adults only I thought it would be quite but no the noise was horrendous two adults would book this room the rest of their family would book a standard room then they would all pile down and use the pool at one point I counted nine people in one pool the music was so loud that they just shouted at each other all the time this would go on till 11pm and longer, this happened with different rooms for the whole 2 weeks I was there very disappointed seeing the limits were 3 people we sat up by the main pool most of the time as it was a lot quieter up there
So we haven't went yet, but I have contacted the hotel to let them know it's our 14yrs anniversary, and for a bigger room. I have to say they were absolutely amazing and so helpful and informed me we will have a suite and jacuzzi. We are absolutely thrilled hopefully it's the one on the balcony. We haven't even went yet and already the emails and staff have been amazing and so promt I have been dealing with Aitor.A and he is a credit to the hotel. I have stayed in many 5star hotels and have a certain level of expectations and had many brilliant times. My family have been through so much this year and can't wait to get away for Christmas. I really hope it's everything we heard. So far 5star they have been super helpful and professional. I hope the Christmas experience…
Excellent option. Services, food, animation and location. All excellent! The hotel is 700 m from Playa d'Amadores, the best beach on the island of Gran Canaria. You can do it on foot very easily. There is a promenade that takes you there. And the hotel has a direct connection to the promenade.
This LARGE hotel with many guests is spread out over the cliff side.... You'll need a degree in lift numbering as the hotel is split over 3 distinct sites.. Most guests get lost at some point, but they all return. The rooms do what they say "on the tin" ... most have good pool views and / or sea views. There is a "secret passage" using x3 lifts down to the promenade at the sea edge.... The breakfast - restaraunt is VERY busy, and like many guests can find it quite overwhelming. There's always a choice of food.... Gluten Free / Vegan ask the Chef / Kitchen staff direct for your food ..... no mistake here. If you eat out ...... get down onto the Sea Promenade TURN LEFT Playa De Puerto Rica has numerous restaurants offering everything from "Budget" meals to more quality…
This holiday was just absolutely amazing. This was a surprise holiday for my wife’s birthday, and they really didn’t disappoint, I made some arrangements with the hotel prior to arriving as a surprise birthday present. They couldn’t do enough for me as I booked a suite with sea view and also booked its spa package. Upon arrival our room card was given promptly, we couldn’t believe our Eyes as we stepped into the beautiful room, with the pool and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean view added with the beautiful king size bed facing the sea, we were astonished. The room got even better when we entered what seemed to be a small sitting room with a tv, with a bottle of 1979 Champagne, which I didn’t even pay for and a beautiful handwritten card from the team. This was the best holidays in…

The Tarihi Asansor in Izmir offers a beautiful view of the city and the sea. Built in 1907, it was originally created to provide easier access between different levels of the city. Visitors can take the elevator to the top, where there is a small cafe and viewing platform. The area is well-landscaped and filled with cafes. The elevator is free to ride and provides stunning panoramic views of Izmir Bay. Don't miss this hidden gem in Izmir!
