    I find this to be very accurate once you do a few updates for the fuel usage. Its a great tool for monitoring you car's performance on trips or commutes. Very easy to setup and learn to use. I use this on a magnet mount.

  • Functionality Problem

    2019 MB VS30 Sprinter. Worked initially (3-4 days) then would not activate when vehicle started unless the OBDII plug was removed and reinserted. Returned.
    The instructions for use, particularly the various monitoring options, were not user friendly or well done.

  • Having to unplug everytime

    As far as the information it can give you, 5 stars. What isn't 5 stars, and absolutely ruins it for me. Is the fact I have to unplug it every time I start my truck, because it won't automatically turn on for whatever reason. And plugging something into my OBD2 port a dozen times a day every day is a big no bueno to me.

    I bought this primarily to monitor transmission temperature rather than relying on a needle that never moves. It’s very useful for that and tons more. If you like to know what’s going on inside your engine and transmission you need this

  • Exceded my expectations

    This thing gave me way more information than I was counting on. I installed it on my 2021 ford bronco which was lacking oe major feature I had on my truck, the ability to see what gear I was in. I got a real shock when programing the scan gauge 111 on my bronco, I found out I could program the gear display showing each gear I was in when driving, fantastic.

  • Love the Scan Guage 3

    Had a scan gauge 2 prior and purchased a scan gauge 3 and absolutely love it. Have it in my Mini Cooper S and use it as a gauge for speed, rpm, boost and water temp. Have also used it to scan and rest codes as needed as
    I do work on it. Plan to eventually used the trip functionality but have not so far. Worth the extra money over scan gauge 2.

  • Great upgrade.

    Nice addition in technology with WiFi updates and instant feedback on $ light codes.

    Hopefully the unit can be updated to work with multiple vehicles without having to reprogram for the vehicle particulars in the future. I often change between three vehicles. 👍💯. Four stars for now will be five once multi vehicle support is available.

    Really like that the -3 can display more than four bits of info, has color, is far easier to read in daylight ...and can EASILY and quickly be dimmed down quite a bit for night viewing.

  • Awesome and very powerful

    One of the more expensive options out on the market for scanning and monitoring BUT you do get what you pay for. The XGauges pick up up everything and map the PIDs to a readable format. Great purchase.
