  • Simple recipes in a durable book

    I'm new to the Instant Pot craze and having a grand time making all kinds of dishes with great satisfaction. I ordered this cookbook to be a base reference for the many traditional dishes of an American home.

    The book is printed on heavy vinyl paper in a colorful yellow plastic coil binder. The format is fairly large print and all recipes are printed out with pictures. My only complaint is the pictures are pretty small so details are not quite as clear as I'd like. Still, the directions are uniform and simple making that a tolerable deviation.

    Another small disappointment is that overall the recipes are a bit too pedestrian and there is a strange focus on a certain cream cheese product (Boursin) that appears in a half dozen offerings. Weird.

    The dessert section holds little interest for me aside from custard because the moisture content for this appliance is necessarily high. I wouldn't want cheesecakes and brownies that turn out that way. But a big part of the appeal for the Instant Pot is the fact that many techniques can be accomplished within an electric pressure cooker and that makes its convenience of use a big draw. Perhaps nine different methods are not the ideal way to get a recipe done. The notion that some version can be created while using only one machine is very attractive.

    I am happy to have ordered this. There are many useful ideas and so far they are all tasty.

  • Best Instant Pot cookbook

    This is the best Instant Pot cookbook ever written. It truly is step by step when it comes to how to use your Instant Pot. The recipes are just delicious and varied. Toss out all your other cookbooks and just keep the ones from this series of four.

    This is the BEST written reference book for the instant pot. Excellent for any beginner and beyond!

    I refer to it all the time when I use my instant pot. The recommended timing for cooking is perfect, so it the amount of liquid needed.
    For the first time I got the best rice ever, and chicken is cooked to perfection!

    I was intimidated when I received as a gift an instant pot. This book made it easy for me to learn how to use it successfully.

  • Given to friends divorcing & relocating!

    Bough two instapots for divorcing friends…..followed up with research into recipe/how to books, and found this spiral bound edition. Chef level female friends recommended this text, and really liked the spiral binding, so two were purchased. They ARE really appreciated.

    When I got my instapot, I didn't get any information on how to actually use it. Recipes told you what to do but not how to do it. This Cookbook spells everything out. It's exactly what I needed.

  • Perfection!

    I've never laughed reading a cookbook before but Jeffrey had me cracking up! I want to be his friend lol. The recipes may look like a lot of ingredients but there are just a lot of spices which means amazing flavor! I bought all.jis.cookbooks now! And one is even in KU which is awesome!

  • Game changer

    I am an awful cook and let me tell you the Instapot plus these four books are game changers. Everything that I cook using the recipes from these books turns out amazing. The instructions are so easy to follow. I just jumped right in and had immediate success. Thank you so much Mr. Eisner! You have given me confidence in the kitchen that I have been severely lacking for 40+ years.

  • Awesome book and great recipes

    Normally I don’t use a cookbook but I wanted to do more with my instantpot and I kept hearing about this guys cookbooks! I wasn’t disappointed. The recipe book is awesome.

    The recipes are fairly simple but super tasty. Just reading them gave me a better understanding of how to cook in my IP.

    The book itself is made well and it contains loads of pictures.

    Highly recommend.
