Relaxing and Cozy Stay in Nuuksio National Park

Love to Details in every corner - super comfy beds and room air! Only downside around the location: hotel kitchen was closed and nearby Haltia restaurant was very disappointing (risotto like zero taste rice porridge; dry fish with lot of bones; no kids menu - and by far not matched the price.)

Very relaxing, good food, a lot of nature and related activities. Food choices would get boring if staying more than 2 nights. Downside that rooms have little table space, and especially toilet has no shelf for toilet bag and co

Great accommodation in an amazing setting, staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The quality of the food was very good with a great focus on sustainability and reducing waste. I would definitely recommend the hotel and will be visiting again at some point.

The hotel is in front of the road, not in the forest as we can think when we look the web site. The personnel is very nice and helpful but I don’t recommend this hotel. The price is too high for the standing. The bathroom is very small. We can’t turn inside!!!

We have stayed in both the hotel and lodge accomodation. Peaceful and beautiful location with some hiking opportunities nearby. Not the most efficient service if many guests at the same time. Food was delicious, with great local ingredients. Quite pricy, especially the lodge considering the size and no shower opportunity inside. Morning sauna is too early and evening sauna could be included in the price. Would recommend to tourists to have a proper Finnish experience in the woods. Ask for sauna opportunities in Kattila 6km away from Haltia (astonishing smoke sauna & lake dipping).

We enjoyed the cosy, friendly and ekological athmosphere. We took walks at Haukkalampi in the evening and the next morning. Breakfast was fantastic. We would prefer night sauna ( it was full booked) and the morning times too early. Next time I'll would like the glamping. Super vacation.

First: Knowing the environment, but as I wasn't familiar with the hotel in advance, I 'chose' the hotel because of a given gift card by colleaques when retired. Messaging before entering was unusual, made a bit unsure what I was going to face. When entering the area by car, noted signtexts rather small. Also while having walking restrictions, it would have been gentle to let know the walking distances. The reception was smooth and very friendly. Room we had was clean and smartly redesigned to a minimalist style being upgraded from the hostel level. Not too big, though. No tv in the room, very well reasoned. Not needed, either. Most customers nowadays carry their own gadgets along. Electricity available for charging. Despite a good night's sleep, the night may seem a bit restless to those who are not used to the operation of the air heat pump. We in Finland are generally familiar with the matter. On the contrary, I felt grateful for the good ventilation and even temperature. The beds and beddings were phenomenal, best ever. This seems to be the key facto for nature lovers after long days outdoors. Shower was ok. We didn't use the given possibility to a morning saunas. The personnel - serving attitude was on a friendly way smooth, very positive. The breakfsdt was cleverly built with Basic desires college in advance. My overall impression: Here is a strong intention to sustainably develop this venue to a new level of customer caring by using minimality, quality and locality in the heart of our main national park and support this by modern technology. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. The views and the surrounding nature were great. The nearby museum had a special Saturday programme (Haltia has that on the first Saturday of summer months), and the hotel staff recommended going there - it was a great tip. The only things that could have been better were that the room was on top of a sauna, and I guess it caused some subtle noise. Also, two reading lamps would have been nice. However, these were only minor issues, otherwise the stay was great!

We stayed in a glamping tent. The facilities inside were good, and felt like they were quite high quality. However, a couple things could have been better. - When we first arrived, our room was really hot. The ac /heat pump was not on, and although it was only about 15 degrees outside, sun had warmed up the tent and it was like going to a sauna. - Faucet in the bathroom was quite unusable. The sink was ok, but the water container was barely high enough to reach the edge of the sink. It was very difficult to wash hands using the faucet. - It was a surprise that restaurant Haltia closed so early. We were planning to eat there but as the last seating was at 19:30, we could not finish our activities early enough to make it there. We thought we’d have more time as the website says…

Cozy getaway in the beautiful Nuuksio nature reserve. Easy access with public transport, comfortable rooms and amazing breakfast. Cute little beach just down the hill. Next time we want to try the dinner too, it looked really good. Great value for money!

Glamping was very nice. Beds are excellent and the view also. It is nice to listen voices from outside. Private sauna what we ordered was too hot. Breakfast is good and lounge and bar service also. Nice tapas plate.

We visited the place during may. Weather was good and commodation nice and peaceful with simplistic interiors and very nice sauna which was also available during the morning. Nature and routes near by. Very good service and breakfast.

Haltia Lake Lodge was a perfect experience. Great location, comfy bed, sustainable approach, and really attentive staff. For us, the easy access from Helsinki made an experience with the forests and lakes of Finland achievable. Beautiful and highly recommended

We stayed for four nights and it was excellent! Great location, very quiet with a wonderful view towards the lake and surrounding forest. We really loved the design of the room, with a lot of wood and nice details. The room was not huge but big enough for comfortable sleeping - during the day you will probably be mostly outside hiking or biking anyways. The bed was firm and comfortable with a cozy winter blanket. The bathroom was also very nicely designed and offered local, forest themed soap and shower gel. The only thing „missing“ from our room was a closet for our clothing. But there was a coatrack, which was enough to hang our outdoor jackets and pants to dry. This is such a cute little hotel, quiet and away from it all in the forest. The bedrooms are clean and comfy and the service was very friendly and welcoming. The little bar/restaurant was perfect for a simple and organic dinner offering great wines and beers and a real cosy atmosphere. Walks in the nearby forest is a must followed by a wonderful sauna. You couldn’t ask for more from this little eco retreat. A big thank you to the team.

Very friendly and helpuf staff, a lot of nature right at the door. Dinner was excellent too! Rooms are beautiful, with scandinavian design, very clean. In our room there was a balcony with a nice view. Definitely will stay there again.

Cosy and nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Scandinavian style, clean and compact room and small balcony with the view to the lake ( There is a street, which has little traffic, between hotel and lake). Excellent location, near beautiful nature and good hiking routes and Finnish Nature Center Haltia. Breakfast was excellet and tasty, partly buffee and partly made according to your oder. The room (just the "regular" room, but there were also other interesting sounding options, like the "glamping") was very cozy and ecological thinking was part of the rooms as well - just look at the beautiful sink n the bathroom and the cool wooden flooring. The bed was comfy and the room was the quietest hotel room we've ever been. The breakfast time was booked beforehand/when checking-in to ensure that the dining area would remain as peaceful as possible. Breakfast was partly buffet-style and partly made according to order - you can decide whether you want meat, fish or vegetarian choice for bread toppings. We have visited this place before. It's near and we like the place. Winter is a nice time to do snow walking. Last year we didn't know that Haltia center closes at 5 PM. Now we went there already in the morning to hire snow shoes

Beautiful glamping tents with amazing view are an experience and although it is the middle of winter we were very warm inside. The service was great, Mikko was super friendly and told us many stories about the place, the locally sourced food which made everything more special. Dinner was super tasty and was accompanied with a one in a kind wine. Breakfast was tasty with all natural and local produce.

An old sport's campus turned into a beautiful, ecological eco-hotel. Everything is well-thought: local food, amazing views to Finnish nature and Nuuksio national park and lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Cozy athmosphere! Remember to taste wild herb teas by Mettä Nordic and their spruce bud honey. Nice meeting room and sauna - such a perfect place for brainstorming new ideas!

What a wonderfull small design hotel just 30 km from Helsinki! The hotel was clean and cosy and there were everything we needed for a nice weekend. We had our dag with us and he also was welcome to the hotel. The breafast was exellent! The service was friendly and familiar. I surtainly can recomment this hotel

Super friendly and welcoming staff, perfect location to go outdoors into the national parc, pls note that you will find a TV in your room - my boyfriend had to point it out to me - did not notice at first hand, but surely not missed it - seems only consequent for me to enjoy the real life outside your window. We experienced almost perfect winter weather conditions and were sad to leave to Helsinki after two nights. You can easily reach Haltia Lake Lodge by public transport btw.

Clamping premises were great, dinner was nice(tapas, baked potatoes, sausages), good drinks at bar, local beers, quietness was relaxing - also some sauna and perfect breakfast - also rented e-bikes and took some nice trails at national park

We spent one night in a queen size room at Haltia Lake Lodge. Perfect little getaway with dog-friendly athmosphere. I loved the quiet surroundings and the opportunity to go to a morning sauna. We had a dinner at Haltia visitor's center restaurant. They have vegan options both there and at Haltia Lake Lodge's own little restaurant. Both the restaurants are dog-friendly which is really nice when the dog can't be left alone. Everything was neat and tidy. We loved the food waste free concept of the breakfast. Hope to try some glamping next time and visit this place sometime soon again!

Really nice, close to the nature physically and mentally. Friendly staff, clean rooms, cosy lounge, smart and tasty breakfast. Recommend to go for a walk to the Haukkalampi area, many beautiful routes there.

Great place to stay for people who want to enjoy the outdoors. The glamping was an excellent vacation experience, the food is locally sourced, and of course the forest is beautiful. Easy access from Helsinki via public transportation for tourists who don’t want to bother with driving.

My sister and I stayed at Haltia for a couple of days after arriving from Sydney Australia. The staff were very welcoming and our room was perfect for what we wanted, a relaxing stay in nature after long travel. The scenery around the lodge is gorgeous and very easy to explore. We had our evening meals at the lodge and the food was really good, a great introduction to Finnish ingredients. We will recommend Haltia to anyone.

A wonderful place to visit. We stayed for 2 nights in a glamping tent at the Haltia Lodge, which was fantastic. The views from the tent were lovely. Really friendly and helpful team at the Lodge and very good food. Lots of walks nearby into the beautiful forests and peaceful lakes,m. Enjoyed the sauna too!

An esthetically pleasing property. A wooden and calming style that goes throughout the building. Reception, rooms, bathrooms and dinner plates. However, the best is the hosts who are very helpful, nice and welcoming. recommended!

The surroundings were great though there was a road between the hotel and the lake so the view from the room was not the best. Room itself was nice, comfortable bed and beautiful dark bathroom. Good breakfast. Only minus was that the door to the french balcony didn't open.

The service was very good and professional not to mention the stunning view from the glambing hotel. Food and breakfast were delicious, even though they had a small white wine selection. Also unfortunately they had run out of some items on the menu which was a small disappointment. A big bonus for dog friendly service! Would recommend, unforgettable experience :)

A absolutely beautiful hotel, we went for a summer school trip with a whole group of design students. And I think we all found our rooms to be absolutely stunning. The hotel is incredibly helpful and kind, the food was delicious, it very easily accessible from the city.

Booked one night in the glam tent. When I got to the reception for check in, I immediately felt a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Staff were super nice and very welcoming. The tent was absolutely amazing with comfortable beds and linens but still very connected with the nature. I absolutely would recommend this place if you want a getaway from all the hassle and just relax in the nature!

Everything was fine, except that the fridge in the room did not work! The sauna was nice but we would have preferred a wood heated sauna. Very nice and friendly staff. Very tasty and fresh breakfast. Nice interior design! Nice nature walks and lakes around the area.

The hotel is located in peaceful area in the heart of Nuuksio. The atmosphere is relaxed and serene. The staff was very welcoming and helpful during the whole stay. We got excellent tips about the different activities in the area. The room was enough big for a short stay and all the details were carefully thought. The hotel is offering possibillity to have morning sauna (different time for women and men) but we had reserved private sauna for the evening. The breakfast was delicious and we also tried some snack options from the bar menu which were also mouth-watering. I will definitely visit again and can highly recommend to anyone who wishes peaceful getaway from the city.

I recently spent a week at Haltia Lake Lodge to rest after a pretty busy and stressful few months. It exceeded my hopes and expectations. The manager, Miko created an environment both welcoming and comfortable for me. I was expecting to be largely dong things on my own with my little dog (who was also warmly welcomed) but there was always someone friendly to chat with and the dining and sitting area was a great place to relax and meet people. The environment was just what I needed to make a connection with nature again, with many walks with spectacular views of Finland's beautiful lakes and forests. I will not forget the peace it brought to me and I will return again to this special place.

We live quite near to this hotel, in Vantaa. We wanted to see this place in summer. The forest is great. The bus 245 drove us in the middle of the Nuuksio park. We spent our time in Haltia Lake lodge because of the location.

I spent one night at the Haltia Lake Lodge, with my parents staying in another room. We enjoyed our stay! The rooms were clean and nicely designed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the bar food and breakfast were delicious and filling. There's a hiking trail that you can take from right outside the lodge to Haukkalampi in Nuuksio national park, and there's also a very easy trail nearby that offers a great view of the nearby lake. Our only negatives were very minor, e.g. tea leaves provided in the rooms but no tea strainers/steepers.

The hotel is quite new so the whole building is fresh and clean. We stayed here for one night and there were some minor issues that were a bit of an annoyance. We had our balcony facing the front of the hotel, where people apparently could smoke. We had our balcony door open to get fresh air in but unfortunatly also the tobacco smokes. The doors to the hotel rooms should be fixed so that it wouldn’t slam so hard, because the rooms are not sound proof and you can hear very clearly when somebody is walking outside your room. There were a couple of time when we got starled and woke up when the neighbours open/shut their door and also we got woken up early in the morning because of the doors. The pros are that the service is good and the location is great.

Stayed one overnight in glamping cabin 305 (the one deep in the forest), had a lovely time. Cabin was cozy, comfy bed, nice terrace with chairs to sit and watch the birds (popular birdhouse right behind the tent) or read. Bonus glampung features include the mini fridge, electrical sockets and AC. Bio toilet in the cabin was convenient and there was no smell. Sink had water for brushing teeth and basic cleaning. A kuksa with herbal tea leaves was nice for when the weather got a bit colder. The cabin was safe, doorkey was rfid, and I was able to leave my belongings there undisturbed. Had a filling and delicious dinner in the lodge. The following morning's breakfast was just as good. All the ingredients were fresh, healthy and Finnish. Customer service was friendly, prompt…

We spent 3 nights here for some rest and active leisure. The hotel was impeccably clean, stylish and comfortable. The food was delicious, fresh and satisfying (my partner and I are big eaters and we found the meals filling). The staff are very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of forest trails for hiking and we even went swimming in the lake (the water is very clean). I also thought it was very good value for money. I highly recommend staying here!

We spent a night in the Glamping tents, one adult and one child in each tent, and it was a very relaxing a fun time. Even though it was only one night, and we were only a 30 minute drive from our home in Helsinki, the atmosphere of the property really helped us feel like we had a chance to get away. We enjoyed our stay greatly! The staff was exceptionally friendly and ready to help us with everything. The location is perfect with alot of good hiking trails close by. We had a picnic at the rocks by the Maahisenkierroksen näköalatasanne and would recommend you do the same :) The breakfast was simple but tasty. Wouldn't change anything about our stay.

No tv, no shower - can it work? It sure can and will. The wide windows to the nature just waking up into the summer season is more than any tv channel has to offer: you may sit outside in the balcony and breathe the fresh air or simply lay on your bed and watch the busy life of the hatching birds. As the guest is arriving at the hotel, there is a good sign to the hotel. Yet the signposts to the correct hotel parking and to the hotel from the parking lot need a detective's eye - they are rather minimal. The only big minus comes from the lack of meal services nearby - in case you arrive very hungry in Nuuksio and it happens to be the middle of the week, there are no dinner restaurants open. The hotel has a bar snack/ tapas -type menu, but unfortunately it is not for starving…

We stayed for one night and enjoyed every minute of out stay. The peace and quiet of early Summer euphoria. Bitds chirping, trees swaying in the breeze… nature is present for all senses here. We had lovely weather but this place would be fabulous in bad weather, too. The tent was cozy and warm and fresh. Gorgeous bed and pillows and duvets. Ate late at the small bar/ restaurant which offered everything we needed: a delicious meal, organic wine and beer with great and attentive service. Lovely music played at the bar. Breakfast was superbe and served in the same place. Sauna would have been available too but we went for a swim in the lake instead. Will return when things get hectic again... 24 hrs here seemed like a proper mini holiday.

Waking to the sound of distant cuckoos was blissful . Our 4 night stay was utterly relaxed in amidst beautiful scenery with great walks all around. All the Haltia Lake Lodge staff were great, really welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble . The main lounge was very chilled out with a good selection of drinks and bar food and our room was very clean and comfortable . I would thoroughly recommend staying with Haltia and would definitely return for a second visit. Thanks

Haltia Lake lodge was in a great location, near woods/hiking tracks, also lake (small beach) nearby. Extra points for being dog friendly place! Room has everything that is needed and service was great. Also thanks for remembering our special day!

Glamping tent was lovely. There was a birds nest outside and I happily spent time watching the woods and the birds. Little rain just added camping-feel to our stay. Private sauna was a good addition altough the 50 min timeslot felt just a bit short. Breakfast was really good with concrete measures towards sustainability and reducing waste. Thumbs up to that!

We have just spent 4 glorious nights, 2 in the hotel and 2 in the lovely glamping tents, at this unique eco lodge. The whole team totally embrace the latest eco and sustainable principles respecting it's beautiful position. The food and drinks are delicious and locally sourced where appropriate, the decor, crockery and cutlery all designed to minimise their impact. All the activities we experienced, kayaking, hiking, fat biking, yoga and a nature walk were all first rate and greatly added to by a top local expert. SO much thought has gone into the lodge's creation and running which is topped off by just the most attentive, hard working team. We can't recommend it highly enough!

We had a lovely 24 hours visit at Haltia Lake Lodge and Nuuksio. Glamping tent was warm and cozy and it is a perfect place to relax after/before outdoor activities. Bed is perfect and there is enough heating equipment - so you can stay there in any season through out the year. Breakfast is delicious and nice to notice that Haltia Lake Lodge is doing clever job to avoid waste food. We had dinner at Haltia - the Finnish Nature Center (recommended to visit their exhibition too!).

Haltia Lake Lodge exceeded our expectations. The place is full of beautiful little details and the rooms are super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good and the staff was so friendly. Nuuksio National park invites you to explore nature. I can highly recommend to visit this place.

The Lodge has a perfect location right next to Haltia nature center and is very well accessible by public transport from Helsinki. The highlights include the lake view, superb wholesome breakfast, sauna, hiking trails and silent rooms. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, they clearly like what they're doing.

I spent a night with my wife on wedding anniversary just to get away from home, kids and dog for first time in years ;-) The Lake Lodge describes my thoughts the best for the stay, I did not feel like staying in the hotel. The place was warm and cozy from the lobby bar to the room all the way. From the room windows I could see the lake and colours of sunset behind the view. The dinner we ate at the Haltia restaurant (5 stars from me) nearby and evening tea we had at the top of Solvalla under the stars. All the hotels offers water boiler but not too many a national park at the backyard with easy access. Our team met at Haltia Lake Lodge for our Q1 away days. We started with a good lunch at the Haltia Nature Centre. Then we moved to the meeting room at the Lodge which was spacious and light. We were guided to the meeting room by our friendly and professional host, Mikko, and the room was already set up with coffee, tea and water. During our meeting, we were able to do small team work walking in the lovely surroundings and then enjoy a beverage in the sun at the end of the meeting. Our dinner was delicious, fresh and generous and our evening host, Quang, took really good care of us. And the breakfast in the morning was well appointed and served promptly with many small details that made it even more special. The atmosphere was perfect to have an inspiring meeting and well…

The hotel feels like a luxury resort at the heart of a Finnish forest. Everything is well though of and I felt very warmly welcome. The lounge area is very cosy and invites to spend evenings sitting and chatting with friends and family. Breakfast was delicious! Near the hotel is several hiking trails, a skiing slope, bike rental and lots of other things to do. Absolutely loved this!!

The clamping experience in one of the luxurious tents was easily worth five stars. All details carafully selected, high quality beds, compined with peace, nature and fresh air. One of the very best, yet super easy, weekend get aways ever. Extra points for the lovely breakfast included.

After not having met in person for 2 years, five long-time friends decided to book a stay at the Haltia Lake Lodge for catching up. And what a weekend it was! Lots of fresh air, laughs, trekking, sauna bathing with the obligatory snow angels... we couldn't have wished for better surroundings for our reunion. One really feels close to the Finnish nature at Nuuksio and Haltia Lake Lodge!

We had 2 rooms because the rooms are only for 2 persons and we were there mom & dad & son. It is a small place. You have to climb a big hill to get there. The view is great. I liked the fact there's no tv. It makes you feel peaceful.

I stayed for one night with my son. The hotel is cozy, beautifully designed, very comfortable and what made it even greater was the friendly and caring staff. There are a lot of activities to do nearby such as downhill skiing, hiking, or just relaxing in the nature. Highly recommended!

Wonderful glamping, very comfortable bed, great view. Not cold at all despite freezing temperature outside. Very friendly staff, cosy breakfast place, good sauna. Only thing I missed was a hairdrier at the sauna.

I stayed in the fourth “tent” and it was a relaxing experience. As the price is quite steep this might be a once off mini-holiday. It was a nice way to start the new year for sure, something different :) Favourite things: The staff - met two people and both were lovely! Breakfast - very fresh and tasty. The nature - was lucky to have great weather. Improvement suggestions: Some sort of slippers that you can wear on the balcony (even in the winter) so you don’t have to put on your heavy winter boots when you wish to enjoy the view. Sauna - I booked the private sauna for 50€/hour and it’s a lot for one person. However, I had walked around Nuuksio and really needed a wash before bed. Maybe there could be a special price for glampers in the evenings seeing as there’s no shower…

Excellent even glamorous ”glamping” tent in the woods with great view. Fantastic staff with great attitude. All details in order. Beautiful nature all around and excellent restaurant plus Haltia nature exhibition center nearby. We really enjoyed our two days stay.

Me, my partner and our dog stayed in Haltia Lake Lodge for one night. We had a great stay and we were well taken care of. Extra points for being both pet-friendly and vegan-friendly. The room was slightly small but very cozy, and we appreciate the hotel's sustainable and environmentally friendly approach. All members of staff were very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful place to stay in Nuuksio national park next to the Haltia nature centre and restaurant. Different kind of nature activities available - or just hiking around by yourself. Small hotel with relaxing atmosphere, rooms decorated with themes Finnish nature and tasty breakfast. We were lucky also to enjoy some live music by a local duo at the pub downstairs.

We stayed one night in a glamping tent and overall experience was quite nice. The tent was cozy but a bit too cold for me. Especially the toilet was too much on the cold side with temperature only 10 degrees celcius. However I had a good nights sleep in the comfortable bed under the down blanket and didn't have to worry about the cold. The sauna had very nice löyly but at 50 euro per hour I expected something more. The staff was nice and very helpful. We had a wonderful dinner at Restaurant Haltia which I can recommend warmly.

Haltia Lake Lodge gave us a perfect relaxation in the middle of the nature in Nuuksio. We were met by the most happy and friendly host, who made us feel very welcome. The room was super cozy, bed was amazingly comfortable (actually had a 12-hour sleep because the room really offered some good calmness, relaxation and quiet surroundings). The view from the little balcony was so beautiful. Breakfast had quality products and the coffee tasted too good. The hostess in the morning, Adriana was very lovely, told us in a really lovely way about the breakfast and also a bit about the hotel's sustainable choices, for example their actions to prevent food waste. An excellent place to have our company strategy days. We enjoyed the tranquility, the beauty of the nature and contactless travel. The meeting space was cozy and functional. Food was excellent. And the activities organized by the hotel really boosted our energy. A warm recommendation also to the glamping experience - your own privacy in the midst of a beautiful forest. Haltia Lake Lodge is very nice intimate and cosy place. Glamping tents offer you one of a kind experience. It is very exotic to lay under warm duved and listen the sounds of nature. Good breakfast and great personnel.

Cozy and intimate athmosphere. Staying in the lobby after our dinner in the neighboring Haltia was a nice close-up of the day, and gave us a feeling that the entire hotel + the bartender was just for us. Breakfast was plentiful, and the morning coffee was fresh and tasty, not petrol-like as usual:) We had a priviledge to enjoy an exclusive tour in the premises, which was valuable to my group of tourism entepreneurs.

A nice place to stay located in a nationalpark. The rooms are comfy, the breakfast sturdy (vegan breakfast available) and the personnel of the lodge are extremely helpful and kind. There’s also a very good restaurant just around the corner.

The glamping tents have everything you need and nothing more, a perfect recipe for a relaxing vacation. Dogs were also welcome and enjoyed their stay, especially the nice walks nearby. Service was good and friendly, the lounge bar cozy with some nice books about the area.

Very clean, modern and comfortable rooms with air conditioner, excellent breakfast and excellent service throughout the stay! Good quality tee available in the room and drinks and for examble sandwiches available in the Kyro Bar lounge area. Parking is about 100 metres away from the hotel.

The rooms were new and very tidy. The forest theme and smell was present everywhere and everything was of high quality. Breakfast was also really good. The location is also very good next to mushroom forests. Beds were great!

Awesome place close to nature and there are suitable outdoor routes for everyone. Gamping tent is a wonderful and very special experience. Points also for friendly staff! I definitely recommend visiting here.

We loved that there was no tv in the room. We felt completely relaxed after the night. Lovely morning sauna and breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. I would recommend for nature lovers or for people wanting to escape the busy city

We stayed one night in a glamping tent. View itself from our tent wasn't spectacular, facing a rock but relaxing atmosphere overall made it ok. Tent itself is modern with good facilites and comfy bed. Restroom is modest, but did ok for night or two. We used Sauna which was nice but bring your own toileteries. Excellent service and great idea for a staycation from the city. Can recommend!

We had never been for a glamping experience before and this was a wonderful place for our first time. The glamping hut is cosy and comfortable, and has a balcony that looks over the beautiful nature in Nuuksio. It's not too far from the main building and sauna, but it's far away enough for some peace and privacy. The beds are really comfortable and perfect for a good night's sleep. We came on a Monday and Restaurant Haltia was closed, but the hotel itself has a lounge menu. We had the elk sandwich and it was really tasty. Just be prepared for the toilet facilities to be relatively simple. There is a freezing composting toilet and a small sink, more than sufficient for a night or two. We stayed one weekend at Haltia Lake Lodge 09/21 and would absolutely recommend the place! Beautiful interior, excellent service, wonderful breakfast and superb location! Great hiking oppotunities as well!

Wonderful new hotel in beautiful surroundings. The interior decoration is tasteful in a Nordic tone. Extremely friendly and helpful staff ready to give advice and help 24 hours a day. The breakfast included in the room price was excellent with homebaked bread and fresh, local products. Everything deliciously arranged. Snack and light means are served in the bar and we can especially recommend the pulled elk sandwich as well as the pink gin tonic. The hotel fulfills its motto: "...everything you need and nothing else". We didn't try the sauna but we definitely will, when we come back. The hotel is a perfect place if you are going to enjoy outdoor activities and nature.

We were celebrating our 22nd wedding day in this very cosy hotel with nice details in the interior design! A possibility to do kayaking along the Pitkäjärvi lake (reservation from the Solvalla sports centre) and to have a five-star dinner in Haltia Restaurant made our day unforgettable. A truly unique hotel right in the heart of Nuuksio National Park. The rooms are absolutely spectacular and finished to the last. The breakfast was really tasty and the staff nice and helpful in every situation. There is no better location for this, if you want to go hiking in Nuuksio National Park. I recommend checking this out!
