    The author of this book (Mehdi) has well-documented a practical framework of using AI use cases in AEC both from Engineering & Business perspective. Mehdi's 15yrs+ experience both in Academia and industry in the field of AI, Machine Learning, Business, Entrepreneurship specific to AEC domain is evident and outlined in this book. He has mentioned case-studies ranging from Construction Robotics, Manufacturing(DfMa), Computational Design, Building Information Modeling(BIM) and Virtual Design Construction (VDC). I recommend this book for all Architects, Structural Engineers, Civil Engineers, Industrial Designers, CEO's, CTO's, VP's and Business Owners from all level of experiences.

  • Comprehensible and full of real examples from the AEC industry

    The book is very clear and comprehensive. It first explains the definition of AI and the sub-fields of AI. Then it offers a framework to find and execute AI use cases based on your business strategy.
    What I liked the most about the book was the real example of AI projects at the end of each chapter. I also liked that the author is excellent at explaining complicated concepts in a way that made sense to me.

    A necessary read for anybody involved in built environment. It is not a suggested area but a must knowledge for everyone to start thinking in AI world. This book helps to understand the industry and the new and upcoming language. Very well done!
