The app (often the mobile version) will completely crash after skipping forwards or backwards or even when changing episodes.
The crash will have your show or movie load continuously without playing again, even after closing out the app and restarting it would get worse and be a black screen and wont load.
From what i've seen, the only way to fix this problem is to fully restart the device and then open the app again.
Another problem the site has regardless of the version is subtitle syncing and speed.
often someone would say something and it would already be on the next subtitle. it's not a big deal but it completely throws me off of a show when i see something that hasn't been said yet and what has been said was on the screen for the previous sentence

Better than the first
The app designers have apparently never taken an airplane before. Download requires leaving the app open, waiting uselessly in the foreground for an unreliable download to complete with the added bonus of a failure waiting for you if the iPad goes to sleep. And if the download stops halfway through, well, you’ll just have to delete it and try again. Easily the worst streaming app on iOS.

I can download the old app, but it forces me to the App Store to download an upgrade that’s incompatible with old iPhone hardware. Grr.
This is the only channel this is an issue on. When added to my Apple TV lineup. So all the channels interact with Apple TV. I’m not referring to how shows appear in Paramount Plus, I’m referring to how Paramount Plus shows appear in my Apple TV lineup. Even international channels work with it but not Paramount Plus. Apple TV says I need a subscription. I already have a subscription. Then I have to go to the Paramount app and start the show and then it shows up. The shows are supposed to show up as they are available. Please fix.
I was already annoyed that the entire Star Trek catalogue is on a service I would otherwise avoid — but I’m particularly cranky that I pay $10/month for an app that doesn’t consistently play videos. Often (at least 2x/week for the past month), the app will crash when trying to load a video. The app is a bit slow anyway, so going through the multiple clicks to pull up my desired video, waiting, then the app crashing is disappointing. Sometimes, if I login to the paramount+ website and pull up a video, it will launch the app and play successfully. Other times, like right now, I have to power cycle my device. Is this some sort of cache issue? Idk. My device is iPad Pro running iOS 16.4.1. I’ve not encountered this poor performance from other streaming services. I might just invest in Star Trek dvds and cancel. 😕
I downloaded several episodes for a flight and none would play when I was in the air.
Paramount plus have some of the best shows you can watch on TV they’re streaming service is the best that we watch and you can get showtime a great deal on their yearly deals with Paramount plus that shows does TV shows best movies on one spot
Wow, I’ve been reading some of the recent one star reviews and I gotta say that my experience (touch wood) has been quite the opposite. No buffering, no problems whatsoever, plays shows just fine for me. Currently enjoying ‘Tulsa King’.

The soccer selection is amazing and I especially love that they provide a section just for the highlights and interviews of the games.

I used to love watching old Nickelodeon shows here but they have gone too far with the ads. I do not want to have ads before and (newly) in the middle of my shows. Needs to be addressed and fixed.

I seemingly can never enjoy watching the champions league or the US open cup because for some reason this stupid app can’t handle live-streaming them you’d think since I have 500mbps WiFi speeds I’d be able to comfortably watch my soccer matches but this stupid app refuses to let me. I’m going to cancel my subscription
Can you guys fix the app on Apple TV please. Is constantly stops for buffering and when it plays, the quality is quite low.
I wish they would fix all the bugs. Being kicked out every other episode, not launching properly. I hope it gets better.
This is the most frustrating streaming service we use. The ratio of good content to silly UI choices is baffling.
We will keep putting up with no option to “skip intro,” no “next episode” button during the credits, no English language hearing impaired subtitles where we live in Mexico, and no clear indication of “already viewed” for what we’ve already watched.
Because what choice do we have to watch the shows we want to watch?
Can’t get it to play most of tie after 5:00 edit
If it weren’t for the quality of shows this would be zero stars. Constant freezing, crashing, and audio issues on every single downloaded show I’ve ever watched.
I’ve deleted the app reinstalled it and it works for maybe 20 minutes and does exactly the same thing. Never once have I made it through an entire episode of anything before the pictures glitches and lip sync is off by seconds
So I have been having problems downloading movies, but the movies actually downloaded this time. Y’all improved!! So 5 stars, also what happened to scream 4?
If your watching a show using the AppleTV, don’t pause it because when you go to play again it goes back to the beginning with no way to go back to where you were. This happened to me multiple times while watching Rabit Hole and some other shows. You pause it, hit play again and it starts from the beginning with no way to advance to where you were. Had to play it on my phone and stream it which defeats the purpose of having an AppleTV. If you can tell me you have fixed this issue that has been around for a while. I will increase the stars. I’m paying for a service so it should work.
I created a ticket with support but been closed after 5 days, I have tried only solution provided delete app and download again, try that for 3 times, in my flight I cloud not able to watch what I have downloaded just blank black screen in my iPad. Other streaming apps are working fine I can count 4 of them with me. So I had to end my subscription because I am traveling and like to watch offline, so please fix your app.
I’m still getting adds. I’m still getting adds for paramount + shows. I thought I wanted all the Star Trek content … but they aren’t that great. So I might cancel bc I’ve only found three solid shows in the last two weeks . . . kinda lame.
If you pause and play it will chime a network jingle while it plays over whatever you’re watching.
The app doesn’t keep track of your progress (if you’ve watched it before it won’t tell you/if you stopped midway it might* show you)
One cool thing that some streaming apps haven’t caught on to is the picture-in-picture will stay up if you re-enter the app. Cool.
Ultimately, I’m going to finish up a couple shows then cancel by the end of the month. I’d rather tor r ent shows then pay for P+ periodt
Great TV shoes with little commercials. So far never had a problem with the service.
