Crisp sound that you come to expect from JBL brand. ANC is great, quiets the world!

This is the second pair of JBL headphones I have owned and the second time I have been very disappointed. I should have learned after the first time.

The first pair was a JBL Free and they would often remain on and drain the battery of the case so I'd go to grab them for a workout and they would be dead.

Second pair is these JBL Tunes and the right earbud will not charge unless the left one is out of the case. Even when the case is at full charge. I am now coming up on a year of having these, I purchased them October of 2022. Now I feel that these should last longer than 6 months, as that is about the time frame that this issue became more noticable. But maybe I'm just crazy.

I am not giving a 1 star review because they are actually very nice headphones, so we're the last ones, but the charging issues make JBL headphones and utter waste of money.

they're very good ear buds and have noise canceling features which is nice. the problem is the app that comes with the ear buds. it often times does not detect the phone is connected to the earbuds and I will be unable to edit settings or find a lost bud, which has costed me in the past.

At firts all works awesome, but in some point right bud battery starts to die not even at 3 hours....

They suck!! Lose battery life quickly, not loud enough for me at all. I’ve had 20$ headphones louder with the same quality.

These are great earbuds...great sound and mic. My problem is they quit charging. I called and after I returned the pair that would not charge I received a replacement pair. Well...same problem with the replacement pair! Not charging or charging intermittently...only a matter of time until they stop completely like the first pair. And again Harmon is insisting I return the bad pair before they send another replacement! Do once again I am inconvenienced and have to do without until replacement arrives! For this money there has to be something better

Really like the buds. Great sound and battery life. Wish they were a tad louder for some songs.

Sound quality is O-K. Broke after a few months. Right headphone doesn't connect to the charger anymore.

Love love love these, best I have ever had! Then I had a problem with them, but was able send them back and got a new pair no problem.
The sound quality is superb, they done move in my ear while working out, and they have a great design buy them!

Useless as noise cancelling headphones. Ambient noise isn't reduced at all, and the Ambient Aware feature made things louder. Tried with an air conditioner, lawn mower, and airplane engine noise on surround sound, and in none of those cases was the Ambient noise reduced by a noticeable level.

Good product for the money.

Bought these in February 2023. It is now August 2023 and suddenly the right earbud’s battery wouldn’t even last a minute. I can literally see the battery percentage in the app go from 100% to 0% in a minute. Beyond disappointed!

These headphones worked pretty well for about 3 months. Now they constantly disconnect, or only one side will function. It’s so frustrating trying to get them both connected again, especially when it happens in the middle of a workout. They are great WHEN they work. Save the trouble and buy something else.

Great set for the money - especially if can get them on sale. We already had a set, and decided to buy another when we saw them on sale again for Prime Day.

First pair of noise cancelling earbuds and they work pretty good. I mainly use mine while cutting grass and you can barely hear the mower.

I got these & some AirPods on prime day. These are very comfortable & fit well. I like that I can use the app to find one or both (if I drop one).

App is easy to use and has some good features that make the headphones even better.

At first, I found them completely ill-fitting and uncomfortable. Until I switched the rubber buds that go in your ear to the middle size. They fit really well in my ear, now, but not in to case. In order to charge them now, I have to take the rubber things off, and then put them back on to wear them.

I ordered these to replace a previous pair of JBL earbuds that were much more expensive, but unable to survive my washing machine. In short, spend the money on better earbuds. These are not even close to the best

These have absolutely great sound quality and for the price, you can’t beat it!

These JBL earbuds are just a thing for a low budget quality head set. Simple to set up with great sound. They maintain a charge for a very long time.

The noise cancelling and sound is impeccable. But I’ve had 2 pairs of these now and after a few months the left ear stopped charging altogether on BOTH pairs. Cleaned earbuds and case safely to no avail. Just get AirPods Pro 2nd gen and save yourself the money

These headphones sound great and stay in unlike the overpriced airpod pros. However, They can only be paired with one device at a time making them next to useless In todays day and age of multiple device users. Fix that and you've got a winner for sure!

Had these buds for about a year not, I do tree work and the noise canceling is great.

The sound quality is not as good as I was expecting. The sound quality is not even as good as my $14 Amazon basics headphones. Seems like most of the sound is coming from the left bud and very little from the right. I'll keep them because they are much more convenient than my wired ear buds.

Earbuds made static noises randomly and now I can barely hear out of them.

The left earbud started having battery life issues after a few months of use. It gets hot while charging and shuts down after a few minutes of use.

Bought these to replace some AirPods Pros that bugged out for 2nd time with a known issue and Apple wouldn't warranty again. I had hoped these would close to as good as my AirPods for work calls in my home office, but the noise cancellation is a joke. There is only a mobile (iOS or Android) app to control the features/switch through modes, so if you are connecting these directly to a PC, you have to tap the button on the side of one of the earbuds to switch modes. And good luck knowing what mode you are in or what you switched to as there is only a faint beep when changing modes, nothing that lets you know which you are in and there isn't a noticeable change in sound between the modes. I love my JBL Partybox and Flip speakers, but these will be going back for sure.

My daughter purchased the for me after I lost one of my ear buds that I had before. She told me that these had a noise cancelling feature, but I have never had anything like that in all the ones I had before. I work at a cemetery in the lawn department which means I ride a lawn mower cutting grass all day. My machine can get very loud when I turn the blades on so I have always had to shove the buds in my ears as far as I could and turn them up just to hear my music or pod cast's. When I turned on the noise cancelling feature the first time I was blown away because I actually had to turn my music down because it was too loud. I could still hear my machine, but it was more of a low to medium hum rather than a loud noise. My daughter caught them on sale for $69.00 so they are well worth it, even at $99.00. The battery last's me three 8-hour shift's plus so I have to charge them about after 35 hours of use.

They didn’t last 8 months. Do not buy. Need a new pair but will not buy JBL.

Its an in ear device, so not sure you can really get truly amazing ENC with any of these products. But these ear buds worked very well. The battery life is great. Bluetooth is adequate; although I did have them drop off a couple of times while using them. Considering their price, I'd buy these any day as opposed to the Airpods.

After six months one earbud stop working

I'm so impressed with the quality of these earphones. The noise cancellation is pretty much, if not better, than that of AirPods. The battery life is surprisingly long - it lasts for 3-4 days if you use it less than 4-5/hrs a day. Sound quality is pretty good too. I'm very happy with this purchase!

There are problems with teh fit, but other than that and a lack of bass sound, it is a great value for the money.

Less than six months old and these things are garbage. Complete and total waste of money. Buy the Apple AirPods instead.

Usually a big fan of JBL products, including Bluetooth products. Have used other JBL headphones and Bluetooth devices for years with no issues.

These things paired up quickly and stay charged for a long time. However, they stopped working correctly with just every day use sitting at a desk. Noises canceling is garbage out of the box.

Sound quality begin getting worse after about 30 days. First, the right earbud started to fade, and then the left one gave out a few days later. Now at maximum volume with the equalizer’s turned all the way up, they barely make a noise.

I ordered these in February. Just recently my left earbud has quit charging. I've tried cleaning the prongs. I'm not sure what else I can do.

These work great. Noise cancel well. Good bass reproduction. Sturdy and I use them in the gym.

I was looking for a high quality headphones with a reasonable price for a while. I got those on Amazon Prime day and I love them. They look great and the sound is amazing. So far so good.

I bought this product for my mom looking for wireless earbuds that worked good without paying over $100. I came across this product and thought it was a good deal (got them on sale). At a glance, the reviews also looked pretty good so I thought I'd give them a shot.

When we received them, we thought they were great! The sound was good, noise cancelation was good, and they had a good look to them. Within a week, the right earbud stopped working. I tried to find a solution to get them to work with no luck. From my research, it look like the small pins in the charging cradle of the right earbud is defective. I tired cleaning them but that didn't work.

I don't recommend this product as I read that this has happened to other people and sometimes they can get them back to work but in my case, I wasn't able to.

The case didn't seem to charge the ear buds from the start without having it plugged in to the wall, but now the right earbud doesn't start charging at all. They both read 10% this morning so I plugged the case in to charge, the left one fully charged and the right did not. I have had them for 9 months and I did not use them often.

The right one stopped working a long time ago. It just rings some stupid tone, then shuts down. Can't use noise cancelling with only one earbud. I can't return them anymore. I have better earbuds that I paid half price for. Very disappointed in these and won't buy JBL brand ever again.

I read reviews for this and it peaked my interest. A lot of people say the transparency mode is too loud. Well duh! That’s the point of transparency, it’s to help you notice what’s around you while your playing music. Not to mention the transparency mode, talk through mode, and noise cancelation mode can all be adjusted in the JBL app! So I don’t really see why people are complaining about these. Now it’s a given that the price does mean a couple of things, most of the time having advance tech ear buds means that the price can be anywhere from $150-$300 normally. These are $100, only downside I don’t like is you can’t connect from one device to another without disconnecting the first device. I have a pair of Beats Studio Pros and as much as I would like to say those are better, the sound quality and noise transparency on the JBL NC is far by way better than the studio pros by beats. If you want loud earbuds with slightly and I mean slightly better noise cancelation than go with the Beats Studio pros, but the Jbl out do Beats Studio pros sounds quality by a long shot and even competes with the noise cancelation as I have said there is very little difference. I hope this helps out with your purchase! Remember research what you want before purchasing. These are 100% worth the price

I liked the product, it met perfectly what I was looking for, however the function of canceling external noise is practically imperceptible. The battery is very good, you hardly need to charge it.

I really enjoy these earbuds. It’s a great alternative to all the super expensive options. The noise canceling feature is great. I wore them while flying the other day and it canceled out all of the engine noise. I use them to work out as well and they work great.

The apple ones kept falling out and sound was no better then these. These were less then 1/3 the price and work better. The sound is great and they Keep a charge longer

Wanted to like them, but the app messed up something and now only one ear works. Called support and got no help.

Great product that went bad in just 2 weeks but Amazon took care of this ASAP, Amazon your the best!!

Worked great for about 5 months, then started having slight trouble charging. 3 months later one bud has lost about 50% of its volume and has become very difficult to charge.

I don’t know if it’s my little ears or the earbuds. I’ll be giving them away. They won’t stay in my ears first of all and after a while they hurt. One phone conversation and I felt my head just buzzing and headachy, very annoying . If I smile or talk they fall out. Very disappointed.

These are now my favorite headphones. Used to use jlab’s. These are more comfortable, the sound is amazing, controls are easier and I love the Jbl app for even more control. You can’t beat the quality of these headphones, especially at this price. Love these case. I use them everyday and the charge lasts for days. I am overly satisfied with the quality and performance.

I was really happy with the sound quality of these earbuds. I wanted them to work out since they were pricier that what I normally spend. I tried these for several weeks. Unfortunately, as soon as I start sweating, they fall out. I even switched to the bigger buds they offer in the package, hoping they would stay lodged in a bit firmer, but, alas, they do not 👎🏼

Muy bueno sonido y todo, pero tiene algunas fallas, como por ejemplo, cuando lo abres en ocaciones solo funciona un lado del parlante, o viceversa, cuando quieres desactivarlo ingresándolo otra ves al box, aun sigue activado.

I purchased these when they were on deep discount on prime day and…you get what you pay for essentially. For less than $40 the sound is ok but trying to connect to devices is a bit frustrating. Frustrating because if they are connected/paired to a device they won’t connect to another device until you “forget device” on the original paired device first. For example, I was watching a movie on my kindle fire and paired the JBL ear buds to my kindle, finished the movie and turned off my kindle and put the ear buds away. Next day, tried to listen to music from my phone and tried pairing the JBL ear buds to my phone but they never showed up on Bluetooth available devices on my phone. After several minutes of trying to figure out why they weren’t showing up to pair, I got out my kindle and went under Bluetooth settings and they then connected to my kindle. I clicked on “forget device” under the JBL ear buds and what do you know, they showed up available to pair on my phone. Extremely inconvenient especially if you are not around the previously paired device to disconnect/forget them. But again they serve their purpose for sound but nothing more than that.

I was on the fence about getting these ear buds, but when they went on sale for Prime Day I took the plunge. I have to say, THESE NOISE CANCELLING EARBUDS DO NOT DISAPPOINT!!

I had been considering these because of the price point, but also had been considering earbuds from Bose, Sony, and Apple. Buy once, cry once right?? The more expensive options from other manufacturers have to be better right?? These JBL Tune 230NC earbuds have exceeded my expectations! Bass for days! Sound is pure, crystal clear and amazing. Noise cancelling capabilities are really good. The JBL Headphones app for iPhone works really well and allows you to customize your buds to your listening needs.

I couldn't have asked for more from a set of earbuds. Don't waste your money on the more expensive options. These are where it's at! Buy them. Buy them now.

I've gone through many earbuds, costing me tons of $$. I bought these during prime hoping they would fit better. I have very small ears and most earbuds won't fit, even with special bud cushions. Other earbuds I've owned always start to fall out, and I have to catch them before they hit the floor. These are light, and with the insert and turn (and the hook?), they fit perfectly! Not once have I had to catch them - even at the gym! The sound is great! The only thing I wish I could do is use more than one command on a bud - I don't like having to open the app or take out an earbud to talk to someone (while at the gym). I want to be able to control Google Assistant (Yes! I can finally use google assistant with my buds [I have Samsung]) and ambient sound, etc. at the same time on a single bud. Other than this, I love them!

The connection always falls out and have to reset them often and always happens when I need them the most. They don’t charge because the headphones don’t sit all the way down inside the case to make contact with the charging probes which also contributes to them always staying paired when you don’t need it to. I read other similar reviews and stil ahead and purchased it because they’re JBL’s. Don’t waste ur money. Very frustrating. $100 down the drain:

The sound is good, not the best, the max volume is not to high and the noise cancellation works, it reduces a 90% of external noise. The earbuds are not so comfortable, the design is not as ergonomic as you could think.

This is a crappy item that doesn't even work and when I try to return they give on option to return that uspn will pick up and Noone ever comes to pickup and I never heard of uspn.

Needed good sounding earbuds for running and these are pretty good. The sound is solid including bass, they are comfy, and don’t slip off. The only aspect that could improve is the passive noise cancellation.

I got these as a Prime day deal for under $40. My wife has a pair of AirPod Pro headphones and although they don’t compare to those, they do come close and they are outstanding for the money. The ANC works great and I was surprised how comfortable they were. They are easily worth the $100 normal price.

Bought these JBL buds on a prime day special. Pretty nice sound surprisingly due to the low cost. Very comfortable to wear. They have multiple fittings for every ear size included. Charge seems to hold quite well and the Bluetooth connection distance is quite long. Connection with IPhone 12 was super simple and easy, the JBL app allows a wide range of EQ adjustments with some preset options as well. Touch controls work…okay nothing special, noise cancellation is actually fairly decent! The case is a little bigger than I would like, but beside the bulk, it still is a really nice charging case All in all I would definitely buy them again, even at normal price.

I did not mind the headphones the battery life was about average along with the noise cancellation feature. My issue is that these were a Christmas gift and I use the headphones a dozen times a week. So in less than one year, I lost most of the sound in one of the headphones. I followed the video and tried resetting everything, but nothing worked. They were no longer in the warranty period. I would not rebuy these.

Initially I LOVED these headphones! I got them on Black Friday 2022 for a really good price.
Once I opened them I had issues already as the left bud was not connecting properly. I followed the instructions to clean the inside and the under part and it worked.
From then until now, June 2023 they worked marvelously, but then suddenly the right ear bud had less volume. Even when my volume was on full blast it would sound like a whisper. The left earbud worked just fine, but now even in their case they would occasionally connect to my phone. At worst times too.

I've contacted their support and am in the process of getting them replaced, so I'll update my review once that process is complete.

The left earbud rarely charges. About half the time I put them in the case the Bluetooth does not disconnect. About every third time I use them the left earbud does not turn on. I then need to put it back in the case and take it out again. They make a shuttering noise with certain sounds, Weed yrimmer, circular saw, chainsaw. NOT worth the money, I should have returned them right away.

Headphones sound great, but the left headphone constantly has problems connecting to the contacts in the case -- resulting in the headphone not shutting down properly. This has happened on 2 separate pairs. I very much regret naively buying a second pair, thinking it was just because I damaged my first pair.

Android app is complete garbage.

Stay far away, get something else.

I am a headphone guru. I have 3 pairs of these at home because I don't want to be without them when and if I lose them.

The audio quality is REALLY GOOD! I have compared to Beats, iPods, RayCons, Plantronics, and SkullCandy, and I will take the depth of sound of these over the others any day of the week.

They are comfortable and lightweight, and there are case accessories with clips that make it easy to clip on to a keyring.

Quick note - I have had issues with one pair that the left bud would no longer charge in the case. It would charge in other cases, but not the case it came with originally. I could not find anywhere that sold JUST the case, but that is why I have spares.

I would highly recommend.

The noise cancellation and sound are good. The accompanying app is nice. I've had them for about a year, but the issues I've had have been pretty chronic since day one.

The fact that the earbuds hardly ever turn off when placed back into the case is the worst sin. Finding my battery has been draining all day because they haven't turned off is really annoying. This also becomes an issue when watching videos or playing sound on the phone, and having to disconnect manually from the earbuds. It's a small issue, totally able to work around it, but it's disappointing especially because these issues were nonexistent in the Tune215TWS.

My other issue is the touch sensor, but I understand this could be a matter of preference. I can't stand the near inability to adjust the earbuds in my ear when they start to fall out. With the Tune230, you have to carefully grab the stem to push it back into your ear (I run with my earbuds a lot so this is a large annoyance). The Tune215, again, had buttons instead, which I find much more functional.

 I purchased these headphones a couple months back and they worked just fine until one day they started having issues with the actual buds re-pairing to my phone. I had to open the case multiple times just for them to work and i know that’s first world problems but it made me irritable. Now one headphone isn’t even working and the other works about a 1/3rd of the time. Don’t buy this. spend the money on the airpods or something else. that’s what i’ll be doing.

Left earbud stopped working after a month tried to get it replaced but it had been 30 days. Waste of money!

left earbud completely stopped working after 3 months and i tried everything to resolve it and had to deal with right earbud for a while. It has amazing audio quality though and the noise cancellation is great. Just a shame one side broke on me after a short while

I really like these earbuds bought them on prime day sale at 50% off regular price.
For the sale price point these are hard to beat! However, if noise cancellation is very important that is a weak spot for these earbuds. The noise cancellation works somewhat but I still noticeably hear much of the background noises. At regular price, these earbuds would be less of a value but still worth considering.

I used many budget earbuds, they either didn't fit right or the sound quality was sub par. The mic on the budget earbuds was awful and if there was any background noise, the person on the other end wouldn't be able to hear me.

With the JBL headphones, I can make WhatsApp calls in a crowded cafeteria at work and the audio quality is perfect. Bought these on Prime day and very very happy with the purchase.

The set up was very easy and charging lasts forever.

I'm not sure if the one I got is defective but even when the earbuds are on the case and the lid is closed, they are still connected to my phone. I have to press really hard and try many times for it to be closed correctly and for the earbuds to be disconnected. It shouldn't be this way.
I am not able to return them as I already left USA where I purchased them, I would recommend that if you get them, test them througly first in case a return is needed.
