Good board for the money
The R key works 30% of the time after the first year. I am still living with it, but this is junk. Logitech isn’t what it used to be…
Keyboard works great. It’s nice having the lights sync with my mouse and headphones through the Logitech program. I wish the WASD letters were a different color. But for the price you can’t complain!!
I find the key strokes to be precise and not overly noisy.
Keys have a nice feel, no noticeable lag, works great.
I couldn't really go without using a keyboard so i kept it. The P key and Y key on the top row don't work over half the time.
Keyboard looks great and configuring it is as easy as a few clicks.
Works well, but I received an opened product so make sure you check all the keys
I required a keyboard with backlit keys so they could be seen in a dark room.
The main thing why I like this keyboard is that there is no backlight leaking around the edges of keys. All the light is present through the translucent characters of the key.
The keyboard will not on its own return to the lighted configuration after a computer boot up. It is dark after a power-up or reboot, and you need to manually set the keyboard light again.
Hold down the light key and tap on the 0 key to toggle through the available backlights.
In order to power up each time at the last light setting, you have to install the Logitech GHub software.
So, its a keyboard. It has big keys. Its ok. I bought it primarily for the back lit keys when working from home because I prefer lower light settings in the room.
Except on a company computer that has strict limitations on software installations from 3rd parties, its kind of a bummer to not have a simple white light/dimmer control. All you get is an on/off button and then a rainbow of ever changing colors unless you install the required software.
Great for home pc. Not so great for work issued laptop setup.
Just meh.
The backlight is great, and it has a good feel when typing.
The touch is great and I really enjoy the fact that it lights up!
Overall I like the keyboard. But! When the keyboard is illuminated and cycling through its colors, it makes this high-pitched noise like old camera flashes charging up. It makes this sound like a wave, up, then down, as the color gets brighter. It’s like tinnitus, in a wave, coming from your keyboard. This is annoying. I don’t use the color illumination for this reason.
This board fit well into my setup. It has all the features you need unlike a 60% board we’re it’s cutoff. I also like the feeling of the keys and they hit well in a lot of game titles. Thanks to Logitech for releasing this gaming beast!
I had used this board for a while and then, all of a sudden, it started repeating the 'R' key. I use it on two systems back and forth and have the same problem on both of them. Sometimes, I felt like I spent half my time using the backspace key to clear out its mistakes. I got so frustrated that I repurposed it for a less frequently used system. Not good quality. I'm beginning to lose faith in the Logitech brand. After my wireless gamer headphones crapped out after just 1.5 years ... and then the pair after that did the same thing, I stopped buying LG headsets. Now my G403 gaming mouse is starting to intermittantly skip on its input for the mouse wheel. UGH!
The keyboard arrived defective. The "Enter" key would stick in the down position (it was getting stuck on the right side) and had to be pulled back into the up position with a paperclip/pencil. I tried to remove the Enter key's keycap, but some small internal component snapped and now I don't have an Enter key. This all happened within the first 15 minutes of using this keyboard.
Used for business, not gaming. Enduser is happy. Quick ship. Thanks,
One of the keys started sticking about 3 months after I purchased it.
Im a big PC gamer and have used nothing but expensive mechanical keyboards. My favorite was the G910 Orion Spark which i just replaced with this. Ive spilled 1 too many drinks in the heat of gaming on the spark. This is not a mechanical keyboard its a membrane but has a long keystroke and tall keys (not chicklet) like a mechanical keyboard and honestly feels like one except its silent (not click clack click clack). Its also spill resistant which was my big reason for giving it a shot. Feels like a $150 keyboard for under $50. its not 16 million color LED where you can light each key individually but thats just gimmicky anyway, I just want backlit keys cause my eyes arent great and i play in dim/dark room a lot. This is a solid keyboard. If youre on the fence due to it being a membrane and not mechanical you can rest easy. It feels like a mechanical just without the noise. Wish the volume was a roller like the g910 but ill get used to the up/down rocker switch.
The reviews looked like this was a quiet keyboard. It is far from it unless there are louder ones out there. I've grown so accustomed to low profile keys, I couldn't give it much time.
RGB is dim, the keys are mushy, expected being it's a Membrane board. However, the quality of this board just doesn't cut it. I have gone through 2 of these now and I just give up with Logitech. The quality isn't there anymore. It takes so much force to register keys anymore. I get double spaces, and double letters when typing. If you want a mushy Membrane board that'll last, don't buy Logitech. If you want a solid key board that'll last. Buy a machine that isn't Logitech.
Maybe it the fault of these games now days with the constant key bashing but this keyboard isn't holding up like my old one has.
I have no complaints works well as expected. Lighting works as described. I have no complaints.
sadly I missed the return window. This is the worst keyboard I have ever had. ergonomically, it is uncomfortable and the issue with the backlights is really annoying. Then there are the indicator lights for 'cap lock' 'num lock', etc. that are so brightly lit that it is totally distracting. The keys are not low profile, so even if you use the attached wrist rest, you still have to hold your hands at an awkward angle so typing is not as smooth and efficient as it should be. I'll be giving this pos to goodwill and buying something else.
When I received mine my E key and my Num Lock key did not work. I have taken them off and they’re not sticky, they just don’t input until you hit the key 3-4 times.
Currently it has been 3 years since I bought this keyboard, it is my first serious gamer keyboard from a recognized brand. At first I had my doubts since the handrest is made of plastic I thought I was going to get hurt or tired quickly, well no, it turns out that it is very comfortable and I play for hours (Call of duty every night) and at the end my hand is cooler never. If you are on a tight budget but want a good keyboard that will last and be resistant, choose this one without a doubt!
what a poc. so the lighted keyboard goes off when pc goes to sleep, that ok I guess. but when u wake it up the lighted keys dont come on. and wont come on until u unplug and re-plug the usb connection back in. wow. noone saw this? noone tests or QA's anything before its shipped anymore?. then u go thru the hold down the light button, and press the 0 to get to the color u want otherwise it cycles thru all the colors endlessly changing. quite a procedure for a dang lighted keyboard guys.
my 16 dollar chinise KB stays on.
then theres the big square PIERCING WHITE LED's for scroll lock, caps lock, and numlock at the top of keyboard. big. square. piercing bright. ok so u only use scroll an numlock but theyre too bright too big and bother me. those alone light up a dark room u dont need the rest of the keys lighted. no, u cant change their color.
KEYS- Ive never seen such high long stroke keys as these. it feels horrible. and cheap. theyre so precarious they seem to wobble as they go down. terrible. worst ever feel keys.
this thing is an abomonation how it got designed made and shipped and for the dang price of $50 is really unbelieveable to me. and charged to return. <sigh>.
so dont be scared of cheapo chinise stuff, beware the formerly good names who make them twice as bad twice as cheap an mark them up 10000% more selling u cheaper crap at a huge markup cos their famous name.
amazon altogether is making return to stores more an more becos they all make stuff super cheap an crappy thinking u wont bother returning it and charge u if u do.
what happen to free returns?.. gone for years now along with ANY quality or moneys worth shopping online. prime? whats that get ya now what is it an absurd 179/yr. pfffffttt. everyone has free shipping, and delivery in two days is a years distant memory. Im waiting two weeks for coffee, and paid more becuse I wont submit to their insistance I subscribe.
its all crumbling, and ol bezos is gonna give his fortune away cos he feels so guilty- dump that amazon stock now.
Great keyboard. Awesome keyboard. but its not spill proof. i spilled a small cup of water and it splashed onto the numpad. Immediately i popped the keys off. dried everything with swabs and tissues to keep it from getting into the key switch. Dried all the keys. popped them in. thing worked fine for an hour. Now it sends no input to my PC. still lights up and all, but no communication with my pc and the keys that control the lights on the keyboard also do not do anything. Keyboard is bricked
I like this keyboard. I run Linux (LinuxMint 21.1) instead of Windows, and I can control the RGB features using OpenRGB. The brightness and color options are wide-ranging and flexible. You can set fixed colors or choose effects like breathing or cycling.
The feel of the keyboard when typing is also very nice. It is comfortable and gives nice feedback without being too loud.
Keyboard has a great feel to it with great response. I'm not really into the lighting so I can't tell you much about it.
