Rubbish canât watch on my iPad now as new version
Fine when it works but very unreliable.
On my iPhone for a week I couldnât even get the app to load properly despite reinstalling multiple times.
On iPhone, iPad and fire stick, when it does load be prepared for live streams to stop often and having to restart the shows regularly.
I run other apps on the same devices including Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney, Apple TV, and IPlayer without any problem.
This app had so much going for it but as a premium subscriber for a year I wonât be renewing as the forced Autoplay is just rude. If I fall asleep while watching late at night it just keeps going and I really loose my place.
Not too much to ask to have this option.
Also continue watching sometimes shows and often doesnât.
Annoyingly after paying for ad free many programmes and movies have a notification due to rights restrictions ads have to be shown.
For that very reason and all of the above - Iâm out!!!!
Must be the worst technical engineers in the world. Why do I need to keep signing in again and again from same location, devices and account.
Can you make it easier to find stuff and can the platform not present what you are already watching better?
Like your biased rugby commentary their app is one sided hard to use and woe be tide those who subscribe for add free and then want to unsubscribe. They donât make it easy. Sadly the seem to get half the 6 nations matches otherwise Iâd never use this app. Hoping to unsubscribe soon. Have also reported to off com as easy to subscribe, complicated and hoops to jump through to unsubscribe. Be aware.
Keeps crashing especially during adverts for live tv so you have to keep shutting down the app, worse app ever wish I never got a years subscription!
The premium content from Britbox that is from BBC and C4 will not play, at all, gives an error message :006 try again but it still doesn't work how many times you try again. Still not working as of October 2023. The ad free content still has ads on Firestick. If you're in Scotland you don't get itv 1 live or catchup and have to use the STV ap which has jittery and juddery picture on live sports action and you have to pay again for add free content. Overall very poor.
Honestly, illegal streams are more reliable than this absolute pile of doo-doo. Streaming in UHD on Discovery+? No problem. Same on Netflix and Amazon? Of course. iPlayer? Seamless. Try to watch LITERALLY. ANYTHING. on ITVXâŚblack screen, buffering, freezing, looks like itâs been filmed on a potato. Dreadful.
Hands down the absolute worst app I have ever used. Does not respond to anything, options to watch from beginning do not work, more ads on here than Temu! ITV Developers get some common sense when building an app, useless!
