I keep repurchasing and I have convinced my coworkers to hop on the bandwagon.

This shampoo is quite inoffensive. I don’t hate this shampoo but I don’t love it either. I feel like it doesn’t do all that much for my hair. The lather is nice and the shampoo smells good but I don’t think it’s worth the price.

I need a clear and free shampoo and this shampoo is that but I would suggest a follow up conditioner that has some healthy hair benefits to it. This shampoo just seemed to totally dry out my thin hair & even caused some itchy dry patches on the back of my neck.

Hard to find a good fragrance free shampoo but this one is great. Not harsh, foams well and adds volume!

My daughter has eczema and almost all shampoos and conditioners make her itch like crazy with all their fragrances, even the supposed hypoallergicinc ones. That didn't happen with this one! Leaves her hair fresh and soft but has no scent.

I was so truly grateful to find this product. I no longer have rashes on my face. Shampoo and I have not been friends in a very long time. No more shampoo anxiety.

My mom has been looking for unscented shampoo that does not give her dry scalp or allergies. We purchased this and wow. Definitely recommend if you have allergies and scents give you headaches. Cleans and no scent! Will buy again. Thanks!

This is just like all the other shampoos that are better for you. They never feel like they wash out all the way leaving a film in your hair. Disappointed yet again.

As the text in the back will tell you, the formula relies on apple vinegar to quickly clean and restore the PH balance, and bla bla bla. What the text DOESN'T tell you is that the shampoo is quick to dry, and irritate. If you use it within 1 minute and wash off, you are fine. But if you hold the shampoo in your hear for longer, like 2-5 mintues, your hair will be dried more than you would ever want, and if your skin is sensitive, you will get a rash that will last an hour or 2. Basically, NOT recommended for sensitive skin and thin hair. You CAN still use the shampoo then, if there is no other choice, but you will have to be very quick.

The company should develop a gentler formula.

This is the first "fragrance-free" bath product I've used that doesn't smell like chemicals. I use it as a shampoo and body wash.

Excellent cleansing (not moisturizing or volumizing, this is a stripping shampoo) in an unscented formula! Great to use as your daily or as a way to get silicons and other products out when switching shampoos. My scalp loves this shampoo! I love that it has apple cider vinegar but doesn't smell like it!

The only downside is that I need a lot of it for a single wash. It's low foaming, which I love, but it also doesn't go very far. Kind of a bummer when the bottle is so small.

I have severe skin sensitivity and can't use hardly any fragrances. I have tried countless shampoos conditioners and this one has been the best by far. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that you absolutely have to use conditioner because it can be a bit drying.

I have waited to write a review until I have used an entire bottle of this shampoo. I am very sensitive to scents, odors, chemicals, with my sinuses, lungs and skin. This shampoo is now my go to. Absolutely no fragrance or odor. I have not had any dermal reactions. It rinses well, leaving no soapy residue. It lathers well and cleans thoroughly. I have short hair and this 12 ounces lasted two months with daily use on hair and beard. I’ve tried other fragrance and dye free shampoos, but found a slight sulfur smell, or an inferior overall product. I found this product to be the perfect choice for me.

My hair’s wavy, frizzy, and can become so incredibly oily with the wrong shampoo. I’ve been searching for months for non-fragranced shampoo, going through several brands by now. I’m fortunate I’ve finally found this one, it’s really helped my hair so much!

This by far blew me away! The shampoo left my hair squeaky clean, no fragrance YEA:) and left it feeling clean not stripped.. I couldn't believe it, it was almost like it moisturized while it washed it.. belter than my expensive color treated shampoo, and much better than Suave...go figure...

My hair had been thinning, fuzzy, excessively dry and as a result I had begun shopping for a wig. After just ONE use my hair felt and looked like it was in great condition and looked thicker. Truly amazing!

This shampoo cleans really well and leaves my hair shiny without weighing it down. I have fine hair and a lot of it but can go an extra day without washing it and not feel greasy. I got the unscented version and it's actually unscented! No after smell of vinegar or anything. I've used other shampoos that were for sensitive scalps but they made my hair dry and dull and didn't clean my scalp well.

Another big thing I noticed...I have much less hair fallout! I was used to seeing a clump of hair in the shower each time I washed but now it's hardly any. I'm noticing new hair growth too because my scalp is healthy now. I like their conditioner a lot too. I'm definitely buying again!

Many “fragrance free” products are not. This has no odor, and cleans my hair well.

I'm so sensitive and picky, and so glad I finally found this shampoo! Absolutely NO scent, and it leaves my hair so soft. It lathers just enough. It's quite thick so I did dilute it a bit, but I'm very happy with this!

Simply the best. Rich lather, very clean hair, no scent at all, feels very natural and does not dry out my hair like some unscented shampoo. A delight to use.

This is the only truly scent-free shampoo I've been able to find. It doesn't suds very well due to the ingredients, but does the job. It seems to be ok for my colored hair. I've been using it for about a year now.

While I love the shampoo, it’s every thing it claims to be. The 1 bad thing is the packaging for shipping. It seems if the product is scent free so should the packaging be. I was completely overwhelmed by the perfume when I opened the box. Hopefully this was a 1x event or I’ll have to find a different shampoo.

I bought this shampoo for my boyfriend because he’s been experiencing weird allergies to sweat and scents. So when I read the reviews I thought this shampoo was perfect. All was well but eventually his hair started to get oily very quickly! It makes his hair super dry and then oily in a couple of hours.

No matter what shampoo I use I always go back to this one. I tend to experience seborrheic dermatitis so I use treatment shampoos on occasion and I use this on my normal wash days. It does not contribute to flair ups and it leaves me feeling clean yet soft - with some noticeable shine and body.

I have sensitive skin that tends to react to everything but there is nothing in here that irritates me. Fragrance free is a huge plus and a little goes a long way.

I like that it has apple cider vinegar as an ingredient which gives my hair a sheen.

I am on my second bottle of this shampoo, and let me tell you, I am happy and impressed. I have fine, straight hair (and LOTS of it) that is genetically oily by the end of the day at the roots only. I struggled with this issue my whole life and have always I really dislike the theory that "washing your hair everyday is so bad for you and produces more oil". The fact is, we all have different hair types and genes that play into your scalp health. As my fellow fine-haired friends know, if the look of your greasy roots doesn't bother you, the smell of your scalp (when really greasy) will. Those are just facts. Dry shampoo is just a band-aid over a gushing wound.

Now I have spent my whole life chasing the high of clean, shiny hair. I used to worship the Herbal Essence Drama Clean shampoo and put up with the rashes that I got from the sulfates, fragrance, and fake color dyes. Don't get me wrong- I'm thankful for even having an option of a shampoo that is not "creamy" and "hydrating". However, Herbal Essence discontinued that shampoo, and I knew I had to find an alternative.
So here I am, doing my research and looking for something without sulfates (which I am not demonizing- they just make me rashy) and without fragrance. Enter this shampoo.....

Here is why I love it...
- rinses clean out my hair
- makes my hair shiny as glass
- doesn't irritate my skin or scalp (I use the fragrance-free version)
- last a long time (has good value for the price)
- does what it says
Now, switching over to sulfate-free shampoo has a trick to it (I read this on the internet and it has helped). Wet your hair first and add a little shampoo --> lather that up and if you have trouble, just keep adding water and watch the bubbles happen --> rinse your hair --> repeat! I used to always think the double shampoo is pointless but I guess the first time is to really remove the impurities and grease and the second to actually clean your hair.
I would also like to point out 1 additional things to be transparent. I realized that fine, oily hair has another helper....a water softener (NOT filter). Hard water leaves a film on hair and skin and causes products not to foam. Without it, my hair is super oily on my scalp and dry and frizzy on my ends.....fun! Do yourself a favor and invest in one. I live in an apartment and bought a shower-attachable one and it is a life changer.

I was hoping this would be a shampoo I could purchase over and over, but after a few weeks of using it I began to notice a film that had developed in my hair- and my hairdresser mentioned it and then... I started using a different shampoo and it washed away. I tried it again, and the same thing presented. I'm bummed.

I think this would be fine for most consumers but I am extremely sensitive to fragrance and ingredients. Although I could barely detect a scent, my body reacted to it sneezing constantly. Same with shampoo. A shame because it did work well on my hair.

I had COVID and now 3 months post recovery my taste and smell are horrendous. Everything smells awful - so I replaced everything in my house scent free. This shampoo is perfect! I can’t smell anything. And my hair likes it. I need a conditioner so I’ll get that. It’s a little drying on it’s own

Everything about this is scalp-friendly while also effectively cleaning it. It has everything I need to have in shampoo while not having too many ingredients. My hair stays softer and cleaner for longer than it used to - used to be 2 days, now it's 4. I also use raspberry vinegar rinse after this tho so they probably work together but still... I tried other shampoos with that rinse before and they weren't as good as this. There was always some nonsense hidden in the ingredients.

I have sensitive skin and feel that scented shampoos also tend to dry your hair out more. This is a very nice non scented shampoo and doesn't seem to dry out my hair at all.

It can be slightly expensive so you might also compare to Free & Clear shampoo for sensitive skin which is also good although I do prefer the Philip Adam one by a small margin.

Women/men with long hair might want to make another selection since it take a fair amount of the shampoo to even do relatively short hair. It lathers nicely with adequate amount used for length.

I'm 60 years old and still with my natural non-dyed and non-chemically treated hair color. The last time I dyed my hair was 35 years ago! Based on reviews I had high hopes for this product but after 2 uses I'm disappointed. My hair feels very stiff after washing it and the texture of my hair is different. For those reasons, I'll use it on occasion but don't plan to repurchase it. There is definitely No scent. It does not feel moisturizing at all or soft.

I am super sensitive to scents and ingredients, so when my last shampoo changed their formula to include jojoba I almost cried. It is so hard when I have to find a new product that will make my fine, thin hair look good, my scalp not itch or my skin break out. I've been using this shampoo for about six weeks now and my hair looks thicker and more moisturized, my scalp doesn't itch and no painful pimples from jojoba! I have been looking for a new shampoo for about a year and stretching out my last bottle of my old shampoo to use when one after another new shampoos were relegated to under the sink. Today I decided I would bravely start using up the rest of my old shampoo as to not waste it and go back and forth between it and the Phillip Adam, but I am rethinking that as my hair doesn't look as good today as it has for the past month. Please, please Phillip Adam, don't change a thing about this shampoo!

Post pregnancy I developed horrible dry scalp and dandruff. Tried different shampoos, essential oils, washed less/more. Nothing worked for 5 months. Tried this and after using it 2 times, it’s 90% better. Wished I had gotten this sooner! I also love that it is fragrance free.

No fragrance whatsoever! My hair stays clean looking much longer.

The only smell in this shampoo is a hint of aplle cider vinegar which I personally love! Its thick and it lathers really well, no complaints, will definitely buy again.

Very satisfied with this Shampoo. It has no scent as promised and with help of conditioner, doesn't make my hair feel dry. Will definitely purchase again!

A great fragrance free product.

It’s a great product... but does seem to take the color out of your hair quicker than other shampoos ... (if you color your hair)

I have very fine thing hair and this leaves a odd feeling to my hair, like a residue or film is on my hair. My son has very thick and on oily side hair and he doesn't care for it either. I really wanted to like this product

I love both the Phillip Adam Fragrance Free Shampoo & the Fragrance Free Conditioner. I am extremely sensitive to chemicals; basically allergic to just about anything scented, because most scents now days, even "naturally scented" products, have toxic carriers in they that make me physically ill; and I have no reaction at all to either of these products. Beyond the safety factor Phillip Adam shampoo and conditioner are superior products. The shampoo cleans your hair & scalp very well, yet doesn't strip your hair of all it's moisture. The conditioner removes tangles, nourishes hair, but isn't heavy in any way, not even on baby fine hair. I LOVE THESE!

Made my hair soft, shiny yet bouncy... but after three consecutive days use it gave me a pretty bad rash on my back and shoulders, just like most other shampoos like suave. Too bad, really love how my hair felt with it. Good, rich lather.

I am sensitive to scent. I've had to throw so many bottles of "unscented" items away because they had scent. This one is scent free. I have had no problems with it at all. Happy to find a sulfate free shampoo that is truly unscented and works well.

I wanted to like this so much but it just made my hair very greasy. Returning it.

I’m not sure why but this shampoo caused small pimple-like sores in my scalp and around my hairline. My head itched after I used it. Disappointing.

I found an unscented shampoo that actually cleans my hair. It has no scent whatsoever, just as described. This is my new shampoo.

Works great and is truly scent free

I bought this to sort of clarify while not drying out my winter scalp. It lathers a lot more than I expected it would and is a relief to my scalp but the scent is a little off putting.

I have a fragrance allergy and have used many free and clear shampoos. This was a good shampoo and I would repurchase it again. I have yet to find a fragrance free shampoo that is hydrating but it got the job done.

product is good for someone that has allergies and can't handle the preservatives. It does leave the hair a little dry but that is understandable since it doesn't have all the other stuff in it that you don't want. I've ordered twice.

Dried my hair out a lot. I definitely needed to use conditioner after shampooing. I did not smell any fragrance. My scalp did not feel any cleaner. I have a very sensitive scalp and it did not heal nor cleanse my scalp. I did not like the way it made my hair feel after washing it out.

Love this shampoo, leaves my wavy dry hair soft and clean feeling without feeling brittle and dried out. Also allows me to go longer between washes. Was worried it would smell weird or leave our hair with an unclean smell since it doesn't have a fragrance and most natural fragrant-free products I have used in the past leave us with a "wet dog" smell to our hair but this one doesn't. It is very clean and refreshing almost reminds me of the gentle smell of when I would wash my child as an infant. 10 outta 10!!

I had high hopes for this shampoo, but it left my hair dry, flat, and faded color after one use. I like the fact that it is sulfate free and un scented, but my hair feels and looks awful! Sorry this didn’t work well for my hair! 😩

I finally found the right one. I have eczema & have went through TSW for over 4 yrs & unfortunately the steroids I used to be on thinned my hair out really bad & this is the only fragrance free shampoo that doesnt weigh it down unlike the others do. This one actually puts body into it & with no skin reaction either. Absolutely no scent but most of all it doesn't dry my hair out, make it greasy or weigh it down. Best one ever & will re order when I need to.

I have to avoid fragrances due to allergies, and I prefer the "cleanest" shampoo I can find that still lathers my hair. This is a really good one, and I'll be buying again. I have very oily hair, very fine hair, and Phillip Adam shampoo gets the oils out without damaging my strands.

After 2 uses: I expected to hate this shampoo, because I've tried other shampoos that were sulfate free and my scalp never felt clean. This shampoo results in my scalp feeling clean, yet it does not over-dry my hair.

I never tried a scent-free shampoo before this and I didn't know if I would like it, but I really prefer it over all the heavily perfumed ones I've used in the past.

It creates enough suds to make me feel it is getting my hair clean, and so far the results have been great.

So far, so good! My hair and general health has been a mess since dealing with this sudden hypersensitivity. My smell has heightened beyond belief and it’s been hindering my life. Not sure if it’s hormonal (I recently stopped breastfeeding after a year and a half) or because my acid reflux damaged something in my sinuses, I just don’t know. Well, I’m just so happy I was at least able to find something truly sent free to wash my hair because I had even stopped doing that because of my issue, knowing I couldn’t handle the smell of my regular shampoos. I also use their conditioner. I’m pleasantly surprised how well it works for me because I’m African American with 4C textured hair and we usually need certain products to keep our hair healthy. We can’t just use any and everything. Try this guys, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Really loved this product

Honestly, there's no scent. My son says he detects a very faint scent, but I'm sensitive to all scents; like I can't go to people's homes if they burn scented candles or even use strong laundry detergent, but I don't smell a scent with this shampoo. It washes well, nicely lathers, and leaves my hair and scalp feeling clean, normal, and unscented. Will continue to buy.

Best shampoo I have ever used. I have thick shoulder length hair, and I apply a teaspoon at the root on the top and a teaspoon on the back and this provides enough lather to wash hair thoroughly. There is no need to wash twice as I normally would do. My hair feels clean and healthy. Great buy!

OMG! I feel like a baby who tried ice cream for the first time! I didn't realize that things like this exist. No stinky fragrance! Finally! No slimy feeling on my hands like after using regular shampoo. And my hair is really clean if to compare to what you have after using Castile soap. And the ingredients are not bad. Thanks to Whoever invented this shampoo! Great job!

I am really happy with this shampoo. It is hard for me to find a shampoo that does not cause a reaction from my skin.

Most shampoos make my head (skin) breakout in a horrible rash. There has been a few times I have had to shave my head from the severity of the reaction

This shampoo has not caused any problems, issues, reactions, etc. Plus it leaves my hair so nice and clean and feeling great. I am thrilled to have found this!

Really like this product for my oily hair. It rinses out nicely and does not leave residue. AND, NO SCENT! I will get more.

My scalp does not feel irritated after using this shampoo. The scent is okay too. It does not really moisturizing. There is one major problem is with packaging. When I received it the top cap was opened and leaked all over in the plastic bag. Hope this shampoo company takes this seriously and do something with packaging. Overall it's a nice shampoo.

Looking for shampoo without all the additives, but still leaves your hair clean and soft?? This is it! No disgusting chemicals and great quality!

I love this shampoo. It has been very difficult to find a chemical free shampoo that actually works, but this one wins for sure. I have long thick curly brown hair and always found that other chemical free shampoos left my hair feeling flat/greasy and heavy. I’ve tried powdered shampoos, ACV and baking soda (which worked for awhile but then started drying my hair out and making it brittle) several other brands and I’m telling you THIS was the best one I have come across.

The best shampoo for oily hair and dandruff I’ve ever used.

I love this product because there is nothing to love. Nothing. Exactly what I was looking for. I just want clean hair without questionable ingredients.

I loved everything about this shampoo. No strong smell, lathers nicely, gentle and effectively cleans your hair, leaving it feeling healthy, moisturized and manageable. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

I bought this and the conditioner. I will say that if you buy the conditioner be forewarned that the bottle is shipped with the cap loose so it will leak. That happened for another purchaser and for me. When I went to check the conditioner cap it was very loose. I just re-tightened it.

The shampoo cleaned pretty thoroughly. No fragrance at all. It lathers really well, but there are surfectants (albeit very mild) in this so I wasnt surprised. I would advised rinsing your hair out thoroughly.

The conditioner I am still trying to decide about. I usually use allot of conditioner because my hair is curly and gets pretty dry so the quantity on this is really different for me. It's nice and light. There is a bit of fragrance but it basically evaporates once you squish it into your hair. I did rinse it out, but scrunched some into my damp hair as a leave in after I scrunched it with my jersey towel. This is light enough that it will function as a leave in as well, I think. I gave moisturizer three stars since it's just hard to know after one use for this conditioner. It may need to be used for shower use AND leave in, depending on your hair needs.

My hair, so far, looks REALLY shiny. It's about 80 percent dry as I write this. My hair also feels lighter, like what I've been using until now isnt really cleaning my hair very well. My curls are defined, which is nice. I didnt have to use a lot of product like I usually use.

I will need to use more than once in order to determine if it is a good fit, but first impression is good.

This shampoo works nicely with my hair. It does leave it a little bit oily but literally all shampoos I’ve tried do that. I’ve tried several natural shampoos and this is by far my favorite

My daughter is allergic to fragrances, but a lot of shampoos leave her hair looking greasy. This shampoo is fragrance free and keeps her hair looking clean and healthy. I have a happy teenager again!

I’m very picky with my hair/skin products but this one marked everything on my checklist. It’s very mild and doesn’t have any of the bs in it.
