Incredible read. Such a great breakdown of the disruptive tech. I Will most definitely purchase a copy of this for my collection.
Excellent reading for anyone interested in the subject matter! I highly recommend it!
This book is pretty 'thin' - seems like the goal was to mash up as many buzzwords as possible. Further, there isn't a compelling vision here, probably written too early and in a rush to make some money while it's a hot buzzword. Despite their hopes, there is zero chance we will be able to decentralize the www as the founders intended; even if some of the 'Big Nine' fall, they will be replaced. Not until we revise the metrics of healthy civilizations, and people realize we already live in a rich, spatial 'web' and ditch their digital vices will we truly realize humanity's potential.
I BINGED this book. A great read that deep dives into the mind-blowing renaissance weâre all about to experience. Highly recommend.đ
Great read. HIGHLY recommend.
Thought provoking and very insightful. The future is closer than we think. Highly recommend this book.
From the perspective of a digital content creator, the prospect of a Spatial Web is exciting and daunting. The "Spatial Web," as it's defined by the authors, is the future of the internet, which connect every facet of ours lives.
From games to navigation to e-commerce, the Spatial Web provides solutions to resource sharing using recent and future technological innovations in AI, XR, IoT, & Blockchain. The idea of creating content in the future for the entirety of the world to access, rather than the "Walled Gardens" of specific service providers, could solve many issues with today's freelancer economy.
However, I believe the jury is still out on whether a Spatial Web as described by the authors would solve these problems, as the economic model of hiring freelancers for hyper-specialized, piecemeal and often redundant work may have less to do with the shape of the internet, and more with the monetization models of the companies themselves. The authors do a good job of explaining such risks to the success of a Spatial Web, and provide some economic arguments for why this open network model is better for both content creators & distributors.
For a comprehensive overview of the subject matter and the requirements and challenges to creating the "spatial" future of connectivity, this book hits the spot.
Your book brilliantly interweaves current tech, projections, imagination, and warnings about where it's all going. Absolutely loved it, and am more psyched out than ever about what's possible. The potential for a smart world will keep pushing mankind through an amazing tipping point into a new revolution of culture and connection.
A fascinating look into the future of the internet and our digital world. An informative and well presented book. The introduction grabbed my attention immediately with an overall look at how and what will become the "Spatial Web" "A future that could positively transform every aspect of our lives â how we work, play, live, celebrate and enjoy life." The importance of using technology for the good of the world has to however have very well defined ethical and social boundaries otherwise the potential for evil will undoubtably surface . If you want to know what the future of the internet will look like and how to be prepared for the new reality that we'll be living and working in then this book is an excellent read.
Convergence of technologies such as augmented reality, spatial computing, sensors, computer vision and AI is creating a new revolution where the world around us will become the actual canvas for content creation. We will experience 3D content and holograms, presenting live data on this new Spatial Web. The book does a fascinating job of explaining how this revolution will take place and how contextual text will become the new edge. It also provides detailed information on the new web standards, legal implications and future of digital rights along with associated risks and threats. A must read for futurists and anyone interested in becoming a player in the new world of spatial data visualization.

The wood burns for a good long time with a great smell. It lights up easily and is great for house fires. However, some customers experienced wet wood and heavy smoking. Despite this, the brand is known for its quality and includes kindling in the package. Overall, it is a good product with a pleasant fragrance for indoor and outdoor use.

The Nebula Capsule 3 is a portable mini projector with impressive picture quality and easy set up. It has a built-in battery for up to 2.5 hours of playtime and can be connected to streaming apps. However, it has some drawbacks like the lack of native Netflix app, buggy software, and poor autofocus and keystone correction. Despite these issues, it is a great purchase for someone looking for a portable projector.
