While I don't have the worst issues with it when on mobile connected to the internet I have soon many issues when it comes to using my mobile data. I have unlimited data and some pretty decent loading and downloading speeds with it. I can watch live streams LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE with little to no issues whatsoever when using my data. But as soon as I have to use Twitch to watch a live stream I'm pretty much put SoL...
I love this app. Use it as an alternative to youtube when there is nothing interesting to watch. But please improve your privacy and trackers. It's making me a little concerned how much data the company needs from all devices & only drives me more to use the webside side of the client instead of the app client. Please take out these trackers so I may continue using this app in ease while also staying protected online. Thank you.
I watch twitch on Android TV through a chromecast 4k. Whenever a long web link (like the ones twitch uses for clips) is put in chat then it pushes the chat off to the left of the chat bar. Meaning the usernames and chat content vanishes to the left. Once the link works it's way off screen the text justification fixes itself.
I gave this a 1 star because everytime I watch a video on twitch the audio just goes out. I don't know if it's just me or twitch. I tried deleting and downloading and it didn't work like one second the audio is fine and then the next it's just gone but it's only the audio the video plays fine no buffering, lagging, none of that it's just the audio.
Cannot save my stream even though copyrighted sounds are turned off. it won't let me activate it in the app on xbox as for whatever reason the activation site is not showing up and the qr code is not working. Over all just very disappointed with the app ever since the update and the service since the last update
No matter where I am, no matter how good if a signal I have, wifi or not; it doesnt matter. Twitch buffers. And stutters. And lags. And this happens to my brother on his phone as well. No thank you. When Rumble and Youtube have zero issues, but Twitch does, this is concerning.
Overall, a pretty good app. But i have one issue... The option to filter different streams through language is gone! I want to watch streams in English, but without that filter, it is very annoying and time consuming to scroll through all laguages. Was it removed on purpose or is this a bug? Please let me know!
as a small streamer, I feel it's important for all my viewers to come into my stream. video for them AND MYSELF just shows a black screen no matter what they do, ONLY ON ANDROID DEVICES!!!!! nothing I change in obs fixes this issue! none of your provided fixes actually fix the issue at hand! I'm so beyond frustrated with this app on Android that I'm thinking about quitting again.... (go figure the iOS version works.....a minority operating system......)
Good job, you killed the mobile browser version and forced this app upon us, but streams are unwatchable when using bluetooth earbuds. The audio is delayed for 0.5-1s and this bug has been around for a year already and still hasn't been fixed. Absolutely unwatchable experience.
WAY TOO MANY ADS!!!! I love when i click on a stream to find out what is going on and get 2-5 minutes of ads shoved down my throat. Not to nention this also happens every few mins while watching. Oh, also that's apparently not good enough for them and now they're gonna give you incredibly obnoxious banner ads for 30+ seconds every 5 minutes because money money money babey!!!! This is a horrid, awful app rotten with an insufferable amount of ads as if amazon/twitch doesn't generate enough money.
How can the developers of this app be so incompetent?? Every single yodate has, without exception, introduced a new issue, and there has never been a time where the app worked as intended. Just wow. I can watch a YouTube video on 1080p 2x speed no problem, but a Twitch stream on 480? Buffering and stuttering gallore. The Mars rover has a better connection than Twitch.
Streams are constantly buffering no matter which internet connection I use. And streams wont auto rotate to landscape mode when I turn my phone sideways. I have to manually force it to rotate with the rotate button. Very annoying when switching between apps. Also, ads constantly interrupt streams as soon as I select one to watch, not allowing me to check if I even want to watch the stream in the first place, often times deterring me from watching any streams at all.
-5* tried to use for streaming - it constantly stopping streaming on its own and even on some occasions it looks like you are streaming when in fact your not. When streaming, screen freezes after few minutes and you have to restart stream to fix it, option to keep stream running when tou switch to different app and back ?! That does not even work... absolutely useless app. Avoid
Ever since the damn update the media player freezes constantly while buffering and eventually I have to close the stream and relaunch in order for it to start working again. The previous version was fine and I have Fibre internet so it's not my connection also every other app works and runs well. You guys should do some research on YouTube and create a VOD experience that's somewhat smooth PLEASE!!!!
It never remembers your prefered resolution. It's so annoying to have to constantly go to the settings when switching between channels. The search tool is the worst iv ever seen. It will only show a channel if you type the exact name. Want to check in on a streamer you watched a while back? Well tough luck unless you remembered the underscore and lower case z in his name.
Every time I try to watch the twitch app the streams keep buffering. It's very frustrating. When I'm on my phone watching twitch on the app, I get so angry with the buffering that I have to search Google to find the desktop version. On my phone, the desktop version works fine so it doesn't seem like it's a problem on my end. I hope this problem gets fixed so I can watch the twitch app again.
Too many subsequent ads! Like you can get 5 subsequent ads every 10-20 minutes! I just wanna watch MCC without being constantly interrupted by stupid ads. But to get rid of ads, I have to pay $5 per month per channel. With Twitch, you get the cable TV ad experience but more glitchy: the stream freezes forcing me to pause and unpause, potentially missing important moments of the stream (that's also an ad problem). And when used on mobile data, Twitch uses a ton of data.
Had to revert to 14.6.0 because of the new media player that doesn't switch to 'Audio only' when minimized or screen turned off. Meaning, if you watch in 1080p and turn off the screen it's still downloading and playing 1080p file in the background, wasting the battery and bandwidth, whereas in previous versions it would switch to 'Audio only ' that uses way less resources. It also stopped sending me notifications today for some reason.
The new update has broken many things, including the 'Search' function (the function with the magnifying glass that allows you to look up channel names). It loads but your keyboard doesn't appear on the screen no matter what you try, so you can't look up anyone. I've tried rebooting my phone, reinstalling the app (rebooting my phone and checking there are no residual files left behind before installing it), checking all settings and app permissions. Nothing has worked.
Great app over all, but the UI/UX designer made some really bad decisions there, for example: 1. In the "filter and sort" page, who on earth swap the "submit" and "reset" buttons locations? At the end on page should be always submit/apply buttons. 2. if you tap on a message in chat, why the "unfollow" and "mention" options so close in the menu, i unfollowed many by accident while i just wanted to mention them in chat. At least add a confirmation dialog or something.
Ever since the recent update I haven't been receiving alerts about when people I'm following go live. I don't know what's going on but this has never happened before. And when streamers do predictions, I have to close out of the stream and re-enter, which is annoying. Twitch has not been a problem for me using but of late this is ridiculous. This needs fixed
It worked (more or less) fine - Annnnnd then! - Last few updates came. I mean ( in my case) last two update made app less functional. Very less functional. Random image freezing and buffering problems. Need to ( almost non-stop ) pause, unpause and exit fullscreen. Can't wait for next update, to see what they will screw up. On possitive side, in browser works just fine.
A lot of audio stuttering when streaming. Most noticeable on live music channels. Been a problem for a good while now. All other apps work fine. Happens on wifi with perfect connection too. Also annoying that Twitch will not let you watch a channel for even a couple of seconds before commercials. You get no time to evaluate if the channel is worth watching.
Impossible to find anything and the settings and layout are not user-friendly. The streams lag a lot compared to the browser version. The app is required to do virtually anything when using mobile so you'd think they'd actually put effort into the app. The only reason I'm not giving it 1 star is because it is functional and does let you watch the stream, even if your experience watching it is horrible. Update: The authentication app doesn't work so I can't even sign in. It is now unusable.
Twitch mobile is the absolute worst way to experience twitch. The app is plagued with nonsensical playback issues, horribly unreliable audio/video syncing, buffering, and more. I can pull up a stream on my laptop and have no problem running it at 1080p, but on twitch Mobile, same internet connection, it will struggle to playback at pretty much any resolution. Sometimes it will decide to run at 240p until you go out of your way to manually reload the stream. This app is embarrassingly bad.
There's so many problems with the Twitch app. Clipping something is easy, but then if you want to trim it, it's nearly impossible unless you patiently reload the thing a thousand times. The tchat is always disappearing, I'm not always able to claim the channel points. If you're using the pop-out feature all these bugs are happening at the same time, sometimes when coming back to the app the broadcasting itself will just disappear but the audio will stay. Announcement doesn't show up. It's bad.
This app seems more broken with every update. There are a ton of problems with closing or pausing a stream and then having audio start playing in the background when leaving the app. If I answer a call while a stream is playing, the audio plays during the call. Also lots of problems with chat notifications that can't be dismissed and take up an unreasonable amount of the chat window. The right side of chat messages sometimes get cut off when watching vods. And so the list of problems grows.
I love the ability to stream, but there are a lot of glitches in Twitch's software... especially in the transitioning to ads. Even besides that, I constantly have to refresh my screen while watching streamers because I'll get black screen video and network errors. I found out recently that I am not alone, either.
The predictions don't work anymore, they don't show up until I exit the stream and re-enter. Chat disappears if I minimize the app for a minute and come back. I always receive an error when trying to redeem channel points. Not sure what happened in the last month or so, it wasn't like this before.
The app is complete and utter garbage even compared to the already bad desktop version. It's full of bugs and annoying little things that make it infuriating to use. Videos and clips often have weird cuts in them, it lags on every other occasion, audio is more often than not off sync and it's very unstable. Also for some reason I'm not able to use Stream Manager in landscape mode. I rarely use this app anymore because it's just that bad.

The Flag Quiz is a fun and educational app for learning about flags, capitals, and currencies. Users can play single player or multiplayer games and compete with friends or random opponents. While the app is generally well-liked, some users have reported bugs and missing flags. Some have also requested additional features, such as a border game mode and the option to see country names in addition to flags. Despite these issues, the app is praised for its user-friendly interface and useful flashcard-style format.

Hay Day is a mobile farming game with a loyal fan base that has been recently disappointed by an update that made the game less user-friendly. Players dislike the new design, smaller fonts, and windows that pop up when dragging products, as well as the fact that the game crashes more frequently. Some have also noticed that the game has become more of a money-grab and lost its unique charm. Other suggestions included adding a tool box for upgrade items, gifting decorations, and diamonds to other players, and making diamonds easier to earn.
