Delta's app has experienced a recent update that has caused some functionality issues. The flight status display has been shrunk and several flights come up with an error message. The app also doesn't display last-minute gate changes and can show different departure and arrival times. The current iteration of the app has become cumbersome with too much useless content, making it confusing and not very user-friendly. Regardless, some users have reported good experiences with the app with their boarding passes being readily available and easy to access.

This doesnât even work anymore! Tried checking-in and adding boarding passes to Apple wallet and it doesnât add anything. Try to print the passes and that doesnât work either. The product team for this app must be a bunch of morons who go to a lot of meetings and are too good to actually test out if their product even works. Thatâs someone elseâs job, right?
A really good app gets downgraded as Delta rolls out changes that set the app back Flight status worked great for the last few years but a recent unneeded update sets the app backâŚdeparture and arrival gate information has shrunk in size and many flights come up with âan error has occurredâmessageâŚmany regional flights like ones operated by Endeavor Air come up blank all together a 5 star app is back to 1 star Please fix and properly test before you roll these changes out in the future. It would be great to put it back the way it was where the functionality was just fineâŚflights that are diverted no longer show where they ended up or when the left the divert city and arrived at correct destinationâŚ..my trips update âimprove your experience sectionâ upgrades only show outbound legs..please fix to show return legs as well
This app needs a major UX overhaul (and needs to squish their bugs too).
Happy Path, it works fine â still, not the most intuitive thing.
But watch out if your flight gets delayed, rebooked, or you are in standby. That is where the madness begins.
While Delta as a company is a solid organization and generally a great airline, this app really does not deliver.
Most critical operations the work just fine on iPhone fail on iPad. Example: âShow boarding passâ produces, âan error occurred.â
While the app has some functionality, I have zero confidence the information on my upcoming flights are accurate.
1. Several occasions when there were last minute gate changes, they did not appear on the app, but was reflected when I log in via web.
2. I had flight changes made and they appeared coorct on website, but on the app, it showed different departure and arrival times! One trip had a layover and that flight time had overlaps. Talk about confusion, not to mention nerve wracking. I double checked the flight numbers and dates. I donât get how Delta can drop the ball there. They want you to use the app, but you canât rely on accurate information. Youâd have to always double check online via web, but that defeats the purpose of having an app.

I entered my reservation # and contact information and the app worked intuitively even without creating an account (I continued as a guest). I got banners for when to check in and my digital boarding pass without having to click too much.
I tried three different credit cards, and could not process the payment to check my bag through the app

I have my boarding passes ready, they notify me of gate changes and they have maps of the airport so I can find the gates when I am unfamiliar with my location.
This runs alright but what is the point of it really if I have to keep going back to my email to fish out my confirmation numbers? Iâve already logged in to my Delta account; donât they just have that info? Might as well just use the web browser link out of my email in that case
Ever since the last update, flights do not refresh properly. App continues to display flights that Iâve changed or cancelled. This needs to be fixed ASAP.
The changes to my trips and the itinerary page are less user friendly then the old pages.
This app used to be great. The new âtripsâ section is now horrendous. The useless addition of pictures and in your face upgrade suggestions makes it impossible to use.
Who needs a picture of the destination in that section? I booked a trip to NYC. I know I am going to NYC. I am in the section to look for info about my flights. I donât need a picture of the Empire State Building!
The current APP has become cumbersome to use and has forgotten the KISS principle. Too much useless content as they try to drive different revenue streams or channels. Clunky to use.
My profile contains all of my passport information. Therefore, it is redundant to be forced to enter it again during check-in!!
I was getting ready to log into Delta to check in when I got a notification on my iPhone that my boarding pass was ready! Never seen that before! Sure enough my search was already assigned and the process required just my acknowledgement! I could also pay for checking bags using points!

This app is confusing and not user friendly. Traveling is stressful enough but to try and make things easier before hand and be just as stressed is awful

I have used this app in the past to book flights without problems. Recently I have been having all sorts of problems.
First I tried booking an award flight for my family. The flight was through one of Deltaâs travel partners. The flight couldnât be booked as advertised as there was no availability for the flight.
I had already transferred points from a credit card so I figured I would look for flights to use up the miles I had in my account. After spending time going through all of the different flights, the app displays an error message. Infuriating, and an absolute waste of time. Maybe Iâll have better luck with Jet Blue.
Iâve been a dedicated DELTA traveler for nearly 20 years now. As a Million Miler, Iâve enjoyed the benefits and perks of being DELTA traveler. The complementary upgrades over the years certainly help me maintain my loyalty!

Very cumbersome to book and revise flight information and good luck trying to call Delta. Wait times are extremely long and they will call you back when they have the time, regardless of what your availability might be at that time.
In recent weeks, the app does not account for time zone changes. Therefore if you are due to arrive in a western time zone it will show your arrival in the eastern time zone (where are your flight originated). This means it is three hours wrong & things get very complicated very quickly. Disappointing!!
I had to cancel this short trip and then rebook and then booked for wrong date and just made a mess on such a simple flight. Everyone I worked with was just exceptional in assisting me. Thank you Delta in making my concerns your concerns. I am so sorry I hit the hang up button before answering the one answer question at the end of each of my calls. You were all GREAT!

I had a flight scheduled for months to be leaving from sky Harbor at 7 PM without any notification. Delta changed my flight to leave at 3:15 PM. I am here visiting a very ill friend of mine. It ruined my entire day. It cost me more money to get home it was a mess. Iâm not happy about it. I usually donât fly Delta usually American so Iâm gonna have to rethink using Delta again. I hope I get a comment from Delta for the reason that they gave no notification that my flight was changed. It was just by accident that I saw the change. This is very bad service.
