Users Express Discontent with Spotify's Recent Updates

Went from the best music streaming application to the worst one with a single update. Now if you don't purchase their premium subscription, you cannot listen to a song on loop, rewind it, listen to a playlist in order or even skip a part of a song. All this while you keep getting interrupted by non skippable adds every now and then. Wont recommend Spotify to anyone now.

I love this so much... but it's gonna be a downfall for spotify, becoz of the new update. I wanna listen what I want, not what you will play on your choice. Any playlist is useless. I can not listen to a single song on choice. It will go on radio based playlist shuffle. It's annoying. Music is meant to make us happy. We will listen what we have to, but we can't. Anyways, my love for spotify is not gonna change tho. I hope the developers improve this. Please, don't make us this dissappointed.

This used to be the best app for listening to music. "USED TO". But now they have disabled basic features for free users, they have shifted nearly everything to premium. Its like they are forcing us to get premium. Please fix this horrbile idea. If it goes on every free user will be forced to shift to a new app.

It's a good app for songs. Absolutely loved it. But there is a biggg problem which looks so petty, we can't even play songs that we liked in order it plays whatever we want if we want we have to open the app n change to avoid this play the SPOTIFY PREMIUM!!!! Which literally shows that we have no other option than paying, which I'm not liking. I loved using Spotify up till this latest update. I'm fine with moving song loops and rearranging the queues and making it a premium feature. But why did you make rewinding songs a premium feature as well? It is probably the one thing that might make me go back to downloading songs instead of streaming it on Spotify

Spotify was the best music app until the latest update.Now mostly everything needs a subscription,we can't even forward or backward the song, this is very annoying . If they won't change the new update i surely prefer to delete Spotify

This app is literally trash in the free version.It almost blocks each and every utility in the app and asks you to get the premium version just to use the basic ones like playing songs of your choice, listening to some specific parts of the song, playing in order, tapping back and repeat. Even the basic things like looping your favourite song and skipping to your favourite part of the song. And the ads are just unstoppable. Bug on the remove song from playlist on Android. While music is playing, I'm in the playlist, click three dots to remove the song from playlist. Song card of previous removed songs keeps showing.

I really HATE the new update. Why would they remove the basic features such as shuffle and playing songs in order. They increased the amount of ads as well. I brought 3 month premium 1 months back but now I am Unable to log in due to some app glitch.generally such problems should be solve in 1 to 2 days but this Spotify team is not even looking in this matter. Spotify is very good, got many songs and suggests new ones but I've to say the app was way good before than now. Because there are lot of ads showing up. Pls don't ask us to try premium. No I don't want to. Please try to reduce the ads it would be okay if we get 2 to 3 ads in between after listening to 5 or 6 songs. It says"watch this 30 sec ad to listen to songs for 30 mins ad free" but what we get is five 30 sec ads continuously and after listening to 2 songs we again get ads. It's irritating.

Intolerable it is, as they are now demanding remuneration for the recurring auditions of melodies. Presently, the facility to consecutively relish tunes from one's compilation has been withheld, and even the liberty to evade segments of a melody has been curtailed. Moreover, the sonic caliber of the melodies is dreadfully substandard, If one must expend a substantial sum for access to a scant selection of tunes, it would be prudent to consider transitioning to an alternative.

Used to love this app. All the features were amazing and I didn't even mind listening to the ads but the recent update has left me disappointed. Even the basic features are not available now. I hope they undo this update else I would have no other option but to look for alternatives.
