The most beautiful thing in all of Rome, beautiful, imposing, interesting, I recommend buying the guided tour that includes the underground and the arena... a cool visit during the day and returning at night at both times it is majestic and at the same time so different 1000/ 10

Pictures do not do this place, Justice. It's a woeful marvel for the eye to behold. Wear comfortable shoes and pack a lunch. So much historical detail to view. This is easily an all-day event to take in all of the amazement. Not wheelchair or stroller-friendly. Bring an umbrella as there are very few shaded spots outside of the Colosseum.

It's better if you know what time you're coming, be sure to buy tickets in advance, we didn't do that and the queue that stretches for several hundred meters in direct sunlight is unreal. But it's also a beautiful view from the outside
