As the number of online content grows, so does the spread of hate speech. Vast online communication forums, including social media, enable users to express themselves freely, at times, anonymously. While the ability to freely express oneself is a human right, inducing and spreading hate towards aspecific ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexuality, disability, or class is an abuse of this liberty. English Hate Speech Detection Model is prepared for content creators to prevent hate speech in their own media. After testing this model, makers can review their API documentation and integrate the model to their media.
About Training Set
The prepared dataset for the English Hate Speech Detection Model was trained with a freely available dataset consists of 2,545 social media contents labeled as "hate speech" and "not hate speech." Before the last version of this dataset prepared for the model was reached, the training dataset was tested with four different data consisting of random social media contents. Each wrongly labeled row was exemplified until correct labeling was achieved.
